The expansive front porch invites you to unwind with a spacious seating area, including a comfortable couch and a propane fire pit, perfect for enjoying the mountain surrounds. Inside, the living room provides a cozy atmosphere with an electric fireplace, a Somette Tucson futon, and a dining table ideal for two. For entertainment, enjoy a selection of games, books, and a 42" Smart Fire TV. The bedroom features a 10-inch Green Tea Memory Foam Queen-Size Mattress and blackout shades, ensuring a restful and rejuvenating night’s sleep. Located just five minutes from the local dining and amenities in Divide, and within a 15-minute drive to the charming mountain towns of Woodland Park and Florissant, this chalet offers easy access to both local conveniences and outdoor activities. Cripple Creek, with its many attractions, is about 25 minutes away, adding even more adventure to your stay. Please note that the driveway is steep, typical of mountain terrain. A 4WD vehicle is necessary for access in the winter months, and is generally recommended year-round. Whether you seek relaxation, hiking trails, or a quiet escape in the mountains, our Mini Mountain Retreat provides the perfect setting. The woods are secluded but there are a few neighbors within close proximity. Other things to note Please be advised that the property operates on a septic system. To maintain its proper function, kindly refrain from disposing of anything other than water and toilet paper down the drains. There are absolutely no wood burning fires allowed at any time on the property. We do have a propane fire pit on the front porch for use but in the event of a fire ban, use will be prohibited. The electric fireplace inside is free to use at any time. The home itself is a ranch style home with no stairs, however there is one step on the front porch for access.
