Just minutes from the base of the Spit, a 5-minute drive from Homer Airport, and only 10 minutes to grocery stores and downtown shopping, the location is as convenient as it is beautiful. From April through November, enjoy the gas fire pit on the deck, complete with six comfortable lounge chairs—perfect for soaking in the long Alaskan evenings, wildlife sightings, and breathtaking vistas. 🛏️ Sleeping Arrangements Loft Level: Queen bed with ensuite bathroom and incredible sunrise views Lower Level (accessed by stairs): Open room with two twin beds Large private room with a king bed Please note: There is no bathroom on the lower level. Guests staying in the king bedroom will need to walk through the open twin bed area and up the stairs to access the bathroom on the main level. Main Floor: No bedrooms, but includes the second full bathroom with a shower 🍽️ Kitchen & Amenities The kitchen is fully equipped for home-cooked meals, featuring a Keurig coffee maker with K-Cups, basic spices, cookware, and everything you need to prepare and enjoy your meals while overlooking the bay. 🌄 Views & Wildlife Massive windows and multiple decks bring the outside in, allowing you to watch the ever-changing moods of the ocean and surrounding mountains throughout the day. Just minutes from the cabin, enjoy cross-country skiing and snowmobiling on groomed trails that wind through stunning snow-covered landscapes. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, the area offers plenty of options to explore the Alaskan wilderness in a quiet, snowy setting. After a day outside, come home to cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy breathtaking winter views from the deck. Guest access Guests have access to the spacious furnished deck with outdoor grill & propane fire pit (on the deck) Other things to note To ensure you enjoy the best possible views of Homer’s stunning surroundings, the upper-level windows in the Moose Lodge have no blinds. During the summer months, Alaska’s famous midnight sun means extended daylight hours. To help you sleep comfortably, we provide individually wrapped sleep masks for your convenience. If you prefer a higher-end mask, feel free to bring your own. Additionally, the adjacent Bear’s Den cabin is available to book separately when available, offering extra space and privacy for larger groups or families.
