Tagish lake beach house

Enjoy the incredible views of Tagish lake and the surrounding mountains from this absolute gem nestled right on California beach in the community of Tagish in the southern lakes region of Yukon. Whether it’s taking long walks on the beach (one with world class views),paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or just relaxing and curling up with a good book in a hammock all of these opportunities are on your doorstep at the Tagish lake beach house. The space The Tagish lake beach house is a two story, 2000 square foot home featuring tons of beautiful wood work and spectacular views from its many windows. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with attached half bathroom, and a large loft area that has a queen bed, futon, elliptical, TV and DVD player as well as a desk. Downstairs features a spacious full kitchen, with a living area, wood stove nook, and dining area. Just off of the dining area is the main bathroom which is also spacious and has a claw foot bath tub to really soak your bones in, as well as a shower stall, sink and vanity area and a private toilet. Off of the south facing sunroom attached to the house is a deck that overlooks Tagish lake. Out the sliding door there is a path down to the beach (coming soon…. New boardwalk!) Next to the main bathroom is a laundry/utility room that also acts as storage for children’s toys (available for use for your little ones) as well as cleaning equipment. In this laundry area you will find stairs to the basement which houses the large capacity water tank which supplies the house with water. Guest access You will have access to the entire home and the yard which has a small fire pit and a picnic table. The garage building that is on the property is not available. Other things to note Tagish lake beach house is located 103 kilometres (63 miles) from the capital city of Whitehorse. The nearest convenience store is in Carcross, Yukon where you can find some simple grocery items, off sales and fuel. The nearest grocery store is in Whitehorse so please come prepared with any food and snacks you’ll need for your stay. There is a lot to do in the area! There are world famous mountain biking trails on Montana mountain in carcross (20 minute drive away) as well as awesome hiking trails. Carcross is an historic town featuring the white pass and Yukon route railroad where you can book a ride from may-September. There is also an amazing cafe, and a shopping complex called the carcross commons where you can find local artisanal items and souvenirs. In Tagish there is a local restaurant called six mile river resort which is open through the summer time. They have homemade pizza as well as other yummy food, as well as off sales available. This home is also on water delivery, so we appreciate you being conservative with your water use. Upon request, I can grant you access to a paddle board and life jacket. There are also two adult sized bicycles available with helmets.
