Our one-bedroom ranchette is ideal for couples or solo travelers looking for comfort and style. The space Welcome to your cozy countryside retreat—a charming, ranch-style one-bedroom home thoughtfully designed to evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, like being “home on the range.” While the bedroom features an open layout without a door, the space is intimate and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen complete with a stove, oven range, and full-sized refrigerator/freezer. Though there’s no dishwasher, we believe hand-washing dishes adds a touch of rustic charm—and it’s surprisingly therapeutic! The spacious bathroom offers a unique experience, featuring a custom triangle-tank shower and handheld shower head. Wrap yourself in soft, fluffy bath towels, and take advantage of the lake towels provided for your outdoor adventures. Located between a local lumber yard and a soon-to-be-restored creamery, this home offers a true small-town feel with a hint of nostalgia. Step out onto the back deck, where morning sunshine and evening shade create the perfect setting for sipping coffee, reading a book, or simply unwinding. And for a bit of evening magic, we're excited to announce that a firepit will be added soon—ideal for stargazing and storytelling under the open sky. Guest access Entry is simple and secure with a key code access on the front door and a traditional turn knob lock on the back. You'll have full access to the entire home, allowing you to settle in and make yourself completely at ease. Other things to note 🌿 Welcome! We take pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and allergen-free home. As such, we kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing pets and remove their shoes upon entering. 🌾 The Nebraska Sandhills are known for their beautiful terrain—but also for pesky sandburs.
