Located in scenic Prospect, KY, you'll enjoy breathtaking river views right from the comfort of your backyard. The space Situated on the Ohio River, this cottage is the perfect place to book for a cozy retreat with a view. Our home sits across from the Charlestown State Park in Indiana, which offers great views year around. Our home features one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, as well as a second sleeping loft area with bunk beds (full over full) and trundle (twin). An equipped kitchen awaits, complete with ice maker and washer/dryer. The bathroom features a recently updated shower and all essentials, including blow dryer, towels, and toiletries. Enjoy your coffee and play games on the screened in porch/sunroom or sit on the swing to take in the view. The home features a dock with two boat slips. Key attractions in the area: Downtown Louisville (25 minutes): Explore Louisville's thriving downtown area, home to museums like the Muhammad Ali Center, the Louisville Slugger Museum, and a vibrant dining and entertainment scene. Churchill Downs (30 minutes): Home of the iconic Kentucky Derby, this world-renowned racetrack offers tours and year-round events. Kentucky Expo Center/Fairgrounds (28 minutes): Home to music festivals such as Bourbon & Beyond as well as Louder Than Life. Louisville Mega Cavern (30 minutes): An underground adventure park with ziplining, tram tours, and a ropes course for all ages. Remote Work: Our home comes with WiFi and plenty of table space to allow for remote work with beautiful views. Guest access Guests will have access to the entirety of the home along with the dock/boat slip for the duration of your stay. WiFi: Free WiFi provided for guests. Entertainment: The living room television is equipped with an Amazon Firestick which includes YouTube TV, Hulu and Amazon Prime. We also have stocked the home with playing cards and several games for family fun. Other things to note Free Parking: Our driveway allows for parking for 3-4 vehicles.
