This Amish-built log cabin includes a comfortable primary bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with dishes and cookware, Keurig and standard coffee makers, toaster, and an outdoor gas grill. Quiet ponds, walking trails, and historic downtown Madison are just minutes away. The space The Mulberry is an Amish-built log cabin nestled among four other cabins thoughtfully placed across 45 acres of wooded land, with peaceful views of nearby ponds. Designed primarily for couples who appreciate extra space and a quiet setting, the cabin offers a calm, wooded atmosphere without feeling isolated. Inside, the cabin features a comfortable primary bedroom, with an additional bedroom available for flexible sleeping arrangements if needed. Spend your time watching a favorite movie, reading a good book, preparing a relaxed meal, or unwinding on the porch as deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife move through the property. Guests are welcome to explore scenic walking trails, fish in Cattail Pond, or end the day stargazing by the firepit just outside the cabin. The pace here is unhurried and intentionally quiet. The cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen with cookware, utensils, pots and pans, a Keurig coffee maker, a standard 12-cup coffee maker, a two-slice toaster, and an outdoor gas grill. Guest access Check-In Time: 4:00 PM (Eastern Time) Access to the cabin is provided by keys located in a Lock Box. An access code, directions and information specific to the cabin will be provided to Guests within 24 hours of check-in time. Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM (Eastern Time) Guests have access to entire cabin with deck. Immediately adjacent to the cabin is a grill, fire-pit and picnic table for outdoor enjoyment. There are walking trails and ponds that can be enjoyed for a casual walk through the wooded property. Other things to note Our Policies Pets: No pets allowed. Should evidence of a pet be found, we reserve the right to charge $300.00 for cleaning. Children: This property is suitable for children under 12 years of age; provided, however, children must be supervised in loft areas, porches, decks and other area with railing, as well as on the trails and the ponds located outdoors on the property. Safety & Emergency: Smoke alarms and fire extinguishers are located in the lodge and all cabins. Guests agree not to tamper with or disable such devices. In the event of a fire or other emergency, Guests must immediately call 911, and contact Host as soon as reasonably practicable to report the emergency. No smoking allowed: Smoking is prohibited inside the cabin and on the property. Any evidence of smoking will result in a $200 fee. Fire Prevention: Do not smoke or use candles indoors at any time. Be sure to turn off the stove and fireplaces when not in use to prevent fires. There is a fire pit outside the cabin. Any outside fire must be confined strictly to within the fire pit structure. Fires are strictly prohibited outside the fire pit to reduce risks. The cabin is located in a wooded forest and Guests are prohibited from smoking or otherwise igniting any fire on the property outside of the fire pit. No Illegal Substances or Activities are allowed on the premises. All illegal activities, not limited to the use of illegal substances, are strictly prohibited. Noise Curfew: Guests and visitors must keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb the occupants of neighboring properties—especially during nighttime hours (e.g. 11 p.m. – 8 a.m.), and upon arrival and departure. No parties or events allowed: Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property. Visitors: No unregistered guests are allowed for overnight stay: Guests are only allowed a maximum of two visitors for the entire duration of the stay. Under no circumstances will visitors be allowed to stay the night. Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay, including accidental damage, and will be charged for repairs or replacements if any damage occurs. Off-limit areas: Guests are prohibited from entering other cabins or buildings on the property. Under no circumstances will guests be allowed to enter these areas. Cabin Rules: The cabin will have Rules and information regarding use of the cabin and property to reflect the nature of the furnishings and layout of the rental area that supplement these Terms and Conditions. A copy of the rules will be provided upon request of the Guest prior to the reservation.
