Mariner's Point Carriage House

A rustic and tranquil getaway steps from Lake Michigan and downtown Port Washington, our carriage house has everything you need for your time away from home. The space Newly built as a second-story “mother-in-law” suite above our garage and next to our 1880 home, this space has a rustic, cozy & peaceful feel amid its maritime surroundings. It offers glimpses of Lake Michigan as it overlooks our private vineyard and the historic 1860 Light Station next door. Enjoy your own studio apartment with a private entrance. We live in the attached house next door so we’ll be available but definitely not in your space. Free street parking is readily available, and it’s a 5 minute walk to the lake/downtown via a public staircase directly in front of the light station. 30 min drive to Milwaukee, 30 min to Kohler, 1 hr 20 min to Green Bay, 1 hr 40 min to O’Hare. Other things to note This space does require a walk up one flight of stairs, so it may not be a great fit for those with limited mobility. We do supply some canned soups, ramen, frozen pizza, and microwave popcorn in case of a late night arrival - help yourself!
