My Happy Place

Welcome to My Happy Place – a cosy and comfortable 1BR retreat w/ queen bed & double sofa bed including private entrance, fully equipped kitchen and laundry; located in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood only 3 kms to amenities in Quispamsis and Rothesay and a 20 minute drive to Saint John. Whether you're here for a short or long stay, My Happy Place is the perfect spot to call your home away from home. Pet-friendly too—because your furry friends deserve a getaway too! The space Our apartment is small (approx 450 square feet) and with 10' ceilings. It feels spacious and cosy with all you need for a short or long stay. There is a 8' partition between the living room and bedroom, so not completely closed off (keep this in mind if you are coming with baby/child and prefer more sound barrier). Park on the left side of the house and find your own private entrance. The apartment is all one level (no stairs) and is part of the host's home but completely separate (no one is below or above). We live in a very safe, family-friendly and quiet suburban neighbourhood. Many people like to walk their dogs. There are also many deer in the area so be alert when driving! Guest access You're welcome to use the side area where there is a patio, NOT the backyard that is fenced. Only one parking spot permitted for guests. Additional cars must park on the street. Other things to note We have 2 adorable dogs (Boston Terriers), Tripp and Patty, and 1 all white (and completely deaf) cat, Elsa. Elsa is an outdoor cat. She likes taking naps in our driveway and sometimes under cars. Please be aware! She can also bite so I don't recommend patting her. Our neighbourhood is very quiet and although we are a busy family of 5 often coming and going, quiet hours must be respected and no parties please.
