Serenity by Lakefront Cottage!

Welcome to our serene waterfront cottage in Newtown CT! This tiny cottage totals 608 sqft (304 sq-ft up and down). Thoughtfully designed to be ideal for a solo getaway or a couple retreat. At our tiny cottage, you may wind down at the spa or relax over a hot/ cold beverage at the upper level deck while bird watching or observing several water vessels as they ride by in warmer weather. If you fancy water activities, you may choose to ride in our 2 seater kayak or roast s’mores by the fireplaces. The space Relish a blend of modern comfort and serenity in this two level, 1 bed, 1.5 bath house (total 608 sqft) lakefront cottage. Enjoy slow mornings as if in the countryside waking up to views of quaint and peaceful Lake Zoar while still being centrally located in the Sandy Hooks terrane and close to the conveniences of town. The interior is recently remodeled and newly furnished. The outdoors boasts lake views, an expansive upper deck, jetted spa, patio, and fire pit. Enjoy a private and tranquil stay at this Lake Zoar Cottage! PS: We are currently in the process to obtain permits from the town to build a dock, permit is taking longer than expected. You may still maneuver to get a vessel (boat or kayak) in the water from the ground level but as of yet, THERE IS NO DOCKING STATION. Other things to note Additional amenities: Outdoor Hot tub (Please follow hot tube rules of usage) Kayaks sit-on-top: 2 seater kayak(1), life jackets (4) Guests swim and kayak at their own risk. Access to swimming and kayaking to be done off property. Please note that there is not currently a docking station on the property (In progress to be built). Coffee/tea: Keurig machine, and tea kettle on site. Limited tea bags and coffee pods may be onsite, but you should bring your favorites. Basic goods: Salt & pepper, sugar, flour, oil, vinegar and other non-perishables available onsite.
