The space Welcome to this bright and stylish two-story guesthouse in the heart of Swarthmore—perfect for both short visits and extended stays. First Floor The main level features an open-concept layout with a full kitchen, cozy living area, and a full bathroom with a washer and dryer. It's a functional and comfortable space to cook, relax, or catch up on laundry during longer stays. Second Floor Upstairs, you'll find a spacious bedroom with soaring vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, a comfortable bed, sleeper sofa, TV, small desk, and a convenient half bath. It's an airy, light-filled space designed for rest and flexibility. Additional Highlights The guesthouse is just a short walk to the train, town center, Swarthmore College, and local shops and cafes. Guest access Entire house Other things to note Other details to note - The guesthouse is private with its own entrance, but it's located on the same property as our main house where we live. There’s a very small outdoor sitting area just outside the front door with two chairs and a table. Off-street parking is typically available and details are included in the check-in message. The second-floor bedroom has vaulted ceilings, ceiling fans, and a door at the top of the stairs for privacy. The sleeper sofa is in the same room as the bed— and best suited for 1 adult or 2 small children. Let us know if you plan to use it so we can provide linens. We provide a starter supply of essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee—extended stays may need to restock. This is a non-smoking property (including the area near the entrance). Quiet hours are appreciated after 10 PM. Unfortunately, we don't allow pets. Service animals are of course welcomed, but are expected to comply with Airbnb's service animal policies.
