Concho River Cottage

A beautiful little cottage nestled in with oaks along the Concho River. This home is located right next to the award winning Christoval Vineyard. The River Cottage (aka the Morning Glory House) is one (1) of two (2) options from which to choose, with the other being the "Quiet River Escape" (also listed on this site) whether for a romantic get-away, family reunion or wedding. Guests can bring their favorite "flotation devices"...whether they be tubes, kayaks or a canoe and are welcome to fish. The space The River View Cottage, a 2-story B&B cottage with a loft, kitchenette (please note it does not have a full kitchen), sits just above Concho River's edge and sleeps up to four. Built in 2002, the house has cozy decor. From the wrap-around porch guests enjoy views of the river along with open spaces where wildlife abound - owls, turkeys, and deer visit while tiny jeweled hummingbirds visit during warmer months. Our S. Concho River flyway is a welcome habitat for a variety of birds seeking food and water in the vast West Texas area. (This property is unsafe for young children due to loft and stair railings.) Please note that tv’s have been updated to smart tv’s. Guest access This home is a stand-alone, 2 story cottage with its own drive, entrances and parking spaces. Please note there are multiple homes on this property and we ask that you respect others privacy when exploring the property and river. Other things to note Please note that you have access to 8 acres on the Concho River. It is walking distance to the Christoval Winery, open Thursday thru Sunday.
