This property is a beautiful farm to table ranchette offering a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the natural environment on the river . We have a small petting zoo with gentle rescue animals , domestic and farm animals. We are all about food ! Both hosts are artists , farmers and stewards of the land. We tend to our fruit trees and enjoy sharing the property with guests . We are close to the UFO museum in Roswell as well as Ruidoso Downs racetrack . Well behaved pets on leash are welcome . The space The cabin is clean and cozy and has an open floor plan offering privacy for guests . It is well lit and has a deck outside that faces the river . It is pleasantly remote, situated amongst tall shade trees and has a grassy ground cover . The bathroom is modern , clean and has a shower . Towels are provided .There is a wood burning stove for heating in winter months . There is also a portable heater or a/c unit available when needed . Also , star gazing at night can be spectacular here in remote New Mexico ! Guest access The cabin offers a private entrance and a shared yard . There are no other rental spaces on the property so it is quiet . Free parking is available Other things to note We are located in a secluded area of New Mexico . Please prepare by bringing any necessary food and drinks that you may want to have . The nearest shopping and amenities is an easy 25 miles away in Ruidoso or Capitan but there is a gas station less than 5 miles from the property .
