Welcome to our lakeside retreat where you’ll find ample space, inside and out, to relax and enjoy the scenic views of Kentucky Lake! Whether you are here to enjoy some quiet down time or for outdoor adventure, our space allows for both! Bring the family and soak in all the sun and fun Kentucky Lake has to offer! Inside you will find comfy beds, seating for all, a well stocked kitchen with all the comforts of home! The space Our 3 bedroom 3.5 bath home with finished basement (4th semi-private bedroom) is situated right on the bank of Kentucky Lake! On the main level you will find an open floor plan that includes a living area with a large sectional couch and a 65” smart TV, both TV’s are connected to our wi-fi for easy and reliable streaming of your favorite shows. A dining area with seating for 8 comfortably, a full kitchen, stocked with all your cooking essentials, with an island that has seating for 2, a half bath, and the master bedroom with a king size bed and master bath. You will be able to soak in all the beautiful views from the wall of windows overlooking the lake! Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full size bed, and a large full bath with double vanities and a tub/shower combo. There is also a little reading nook at the top of the stairs with a stocked bookshelf (books and games can be found here) and a comfy and fun egg chair! In the finished walk-out basement there is a living area with couch and a new 75” smart TV! There is a bar area and a dining table that is great for card or board games! You will also find a semi private bedroom with two queen size beds, and a twin size day bed with twin trundle and a Full bath. The laundry is located in the basements full bath. There is plenty of open floor space down here for setting up the queen size air mattress if it is needed or just letting the kids play! Outdoors Outside we have an expansive deck on the main level that wraps around three sides of our home. You will find a bar height dining table with seating for 6, it also has a gas fire pit in the center of the table that can be used to roast marshmallows for s’mores, or just enjoy the heat on a chilly night or morning! There is a 36” Blackstone griddle and two grills, one is an electric pellet smoker/grill, the other is a charcoal grill! The basement porch has a couple of chairs and a small table to enjoy the view from. We also have 2 kayaks with paddles and life vests that you are welcome to use. We currently do not have a private dock and the use of our community dock is not permitted for our guest per our HOA. We do have a boat ramp in front of our house that you are welcome to use at your own risk, they drop the water levels late summer so it may be really shallow. It is our community ramp so we ask that you be respectful and not leave your truck and trailer parked on it. There are two public boat ramps a short distance from our house as well. If you would like the names and addresses for them, we will be happy to provide them! Getting around Although we are on the lake and it feels pretty remote, getting groceries or grabbing a bite to eat is just a quick 10-15 minute drive to town! Camden has all your needs covered, from Walmart and a few Dollar General’s, to Cash Saver (local grocery store), or local restaurants, you’re sure to find what you need! There are wonderful breakfast spots, and on a Friday night you can find fantastic pizza or catfish in town. Just reach out if you would like local food recommendations! If you’re out on the water, we are a 5 minute boat ride to Beaver Dam Marina and it’s about 15 minutes across the river to Pebble Isle Marina. There are plenty of places to explore on Kentucky Lake! Guest access You will have access to the entire home. There are 3 closets that will be locked inside the home and inaccessible to guests. The outdoor shed is locked and inaccessible to guests. We currently do not have a private dock and the use of our community dock is not permitted per our HOA. Other things to note Our property is not handicap accessible. There are multiple sets of stairs. Outside there are stairs from parking down to our entryway and a set of stairs that lead to the backyard/lake. Inside, there are stairs up to two bedrooms and stairs down to the basement, It is a short walk to and from the lake but our yard is sloped toward the water making it a bit of a hike back up the hill to the house. Also note that inside the home, on the upstairs level, there is a floored area with no safety railing. Just something for parents of littles to be mindful of.
