Serenity Yurt at Venture

Surround yourself with nature when staying at our Serenity Yurt, which is tucked in a little clearing on 20 wooded acres. It features a gorgeous skylight, many windows & beautiful lighting. Cozy to gather, but room to spread out. Great energy! Includes gas fireplace, mini-fridges, microwave, bottled water, and up to six padded cots. Add bedding & pillow $35/set, overnight guests $55 each, pre-approved pets $35 each. If you'd like to add extra daytime guests, please ask for rate info. The space When staying in our Serenity Yurt, you can also enjoy much of our center; our peaceful winding dirt road, Butano Creek, our sunny meadows, and shady spots beneath the redwood trees. We’re setup with Starlink, so Wi-Fi is available. Restroom and pretty sink are outdoor access along with the shower, which is private & in the plein air & sunshine with an on-demand hot water. While you’re checking out the campus, don’t miss saying hello to our chickens. They love a bit of extra attention. If other guest reservations permit, and our pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and fire circle are available during your stay, we can arrange access and necessities for a fee. Communal style food prep area, FREE unless less left dirty, messy or unclean in any way. Must empty your trash and recycling in designated areas before going to bed each night. Added people with host approval are $35 each. Added pets with host approval are $35 each. Swimming Pool & Hot Tub / $35 per person subject to availability. Outdoor Kitchen Area excluding the big oven and stove /$75 subject to availability. Our fire circle is seasonal, so during no burn days or high fire danger season in Summer & Fall, we switch to a propane fire pit, that can be added for $35 per stay. If additional propane tanks needed, those are $50 each. Please do inquire about how to rent the entire center for EXCLUSIVE use or ask about adding an additional accommodation space to suit your group’s individual specific needs. Guest access As noted, you’ll be able to enjoy Venture’s abundant natural setting. Staff housing is separate and distinct, so that you (and we) are afforded requisite privacy. Our Main Lodge is currently closed. While you’re here, we ask that you observe a few simple guidelines to help us to be good stewards of Venture’s land and mission. Please, no pets without approval. There is $35 fee per pet. Please keep your wits about you, since wildlife is abundant at Venture Retreat Center. We have stinging nettles and poison oak, ticks, and snakes in season. Bobcats, coyote, deer, raccoons and over one hundred species of birds have been spotted on our campus! For your protection, and the protection of your four-legged friends, ask permission first, keep plants intact, and keep flower picking to a minimum. Gardens inside the pool fence are for the enjoyment of all guests. Gardens with goodies (greens, herbs, fruits) are a perk, we’d welcome a little weeding in exchange for a snack :) When you pack, bring camping necessities: extra layers, flashlight, first aid, necessary medications, etc. Other things to note Spend some time exploring in and around our little town of Pescadero.
