The house is 9 miles south of Cabo Pulmo village, 31 miles from SJD Airport. 3 bedrooms (5 beds), sleeps 6-8 people. Well equipped kitchen, large living area overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Plenty of outdoor living, with private heated pool, desert garden, terraces and covered porch for outdoor dining, sun tanning, relaxing. Starlink wifi. Top terrace has spectacular sunrise & sunset views. Night sky is amazing. 2 baths, 2 outdoor showers. Friendly and quiet neighborhood to get away from it all. The space Our vacation home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood along the Camino Cabo Este, a perfect place for isolating from the masses, remote working or spending peaceful quality time with your family and friends. The house has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces and is surrounded by majestic views of the ocean and the desert. Private salt-water heated pool (10x15ft, 5ft deep, not gated) with ocean views in a private backyard setting. Easy access to sand dunes and unspoiled, deserted and swimmable beaches. 3 spacious bedrooms sleep comfortably 7 people (2 queen, 1 double, 1 twin). The upstairs sitting area (separate from living area on main floor) has an additional sofa bed that converts to 2 twins or 1 queen, that is perfect for kids (TV, DVD player, kids movies, books, puzzles & games available). The entire area around Cabo Pulmo marine park (our house included) is off-grid and runs on solar power. Our house is fully equipped to host guests that are interested in spending a low impact vacation in comfort: reliable solar generated power, water catchment and composting systems to reduce waste and feed plants in our fully fenced, beautifully landscaped and secured garden. Pool is run and heated with solar panels. Pool cover is set up to maintain water temperature and conserve water. Kids-size wetsuits/life vests are available for kids to enjoy ocean water in the winter months (please inquire for size details). The Camino Cabo Este road is an unpaved (but frequently graded) and a 4WD or a high clearance car is recommended to tour the East Cape area. 20-25 minutes drive to Cabo Pulmo Village, 10min drive to spectacular snorkeling beaches in the Marine Park, 1hr 15min to SJD airport. Surfing opportunities nearby in Vinorama, La Fortuna, 9Palms (15-30 min drive from the house, depending on location). We make efforts to support local economy and conserve energy and resources (recycling, composting system, water conservation in the house and pool). This is a perfect place for unwind, relax, spend quality time with your loved ones and enjoy nature. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire House. The garden is fully fenced. Gated parking. Walkable neighborhood. Community Pickleball & Bocce courts available to guests. Walking trails and swimmable beaches nearby. Guests have access to our private pool (not gated, weekly maintained) and outdoor charcoal BBQ. Other things to note Water and Electricity conservation is strongly encouraged in our OFF grid vacation home. Please note that there is no air conditioning in the house. Ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms (2) and living room area (2). Additional floor fans available where needed. Fully equipped kitchen. Because all appliances run on solar power, no microwave, dishwasher, coffee grinder, hairdryer or toaster (stove-top toaster is available) are allowed in the house. Drip, French press and Italian stove top coffee makers are available for coffee lovers. Gas range and gas stove. Plenty of kitchen utensils, cookware, dinnerware and basic spice collection available as we spend a large amount of time there ourselves at the house. Washing machine use is free and allowed during peak sun hours ONLY (10:30 am-3pm) to avoid damage to the solar system. Use of pool is allowed from 7am to 9pm to respect neighbors quiet time. Pool cover is required when pool not in use to avoid heat dispersion and water evaporation. Pool is not currently gated, minors should be supervised at ALL times around the pool. The house is equipped with outdoor cameras for security purposes only. Gated entrance and private parking (watch for the clothes line!). We are happy to provide suggestions for car rentals, tours and activities in the area to help plan your holidays in this amazing part of Baja California Sur. This is not Cabo San Lucas. No loud parties allowed. Quiet time, 10pm to 6am.
