The Stables - a stylish countryside home from home

Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Stables is the perfect place to get away and enjoy some country living. Formerly the stables to the main farmhouse, this country bolthole is the perfect place to relax, and explore the local area. This is a perfect space for 2, with the option of sleeping 2 more guests on the sofa bed in the main living/dining area. Large double doors open out on to the outside seating area. Each stay includes a welcome hamper of local produce. The space The Stables is on one level and comprises a large open plan living/dining area and kitchen; high quality bathroom with shower and a double bedroom that has the added surprise of also being a cinema room, complete with a discreet pull-down big screen, projector and surround sound. Large double doors at the end of the building look out on to the garden and patio seating area. The seating area has Kettler furniture, a large parasol and gas BBQ, all of which is for you to enjoy during your stay. The property is next door to a farm, so you may hear the odd moo from our four-legged neighbours, or spot them out of the bedroom window. A variety of birds also chatter away in the garden – from blackbirds and pheasants, to swallows and wagtails. Parking is on the paved area right outside The Stables. A welcome hamper of local goodies will be waiting for you to enjoy when you arrive. Guest access Guests are free to use the whole annexe with the South facing patio and seating area at the end.
