Every element from the décor and bedding to the bath towels and wash rags are intended to provide you with a clean, comfortable and cozy stay in the middle of the of one of Kingston's must thriving towns. The apartment is a fully furnished, fully air conditioned, 1 bedroom layout with modern furniture and appliances. Monthly rentals exclude light and wifi utilities. The space The apartment comes fully furnished with 2 single beds with a base that joins to make a king size bed and a full size mattress in the sofa in the living room. Please note that the room set up must be requested as the default set up is a king bed set up. ***IMPORTANT: If you require a 2 single bed/sofa bed set up, please make this request when you book. There is a work desk in the living room. The kitchen comes equipped with a Microwave,stove, coffee maker, toaster and a full size refrigerator. Enjoy the convenience of hangers, an iron and an ironing board! The unit is also outfitted with it's very own water tank in the event that there is a water lock off situation. The kitchen and dining area are separated by an island that functions as the dining/reading area. The Bathroom is everything Zen!... you will love coming home this shower experience. Please note we provide tissue and shower gel for your check-in only. Replacing or replenishing these are your responsibility. You are provided with 2 sets of towels and rags for each occupant. Laundry There is a washer/dryer in the apartment. NOTE: if you are a monthly guest the usage fee below does not apply to you as you would budget this in your utility fee. Short Stays There is an additional cost to use the washer dryer (meaning you would need to purchase additional KW to use this machine, because this usage affects your electricity supply. Be mindful...as again... you will NEED to add additional watts to your stay by requesting same and paying via the app. You can purchase from $15 to any amount. Please also consider, using our housekeeping services or towel replacement only services for an additional cost. Housekeeping during your stay is an additional cost that takes care of basic cleaning, light cooking and linen and towel replacement. $50. This unit is an Eco stay which means that the electricity is prepaid and assigned based on your days of stay according to the reccomendations of our power company. Our intention is to promote conservation of energy as this is our biggest operational cost. If you exceed the allocation for your stay no worries, you can add additonal energy . You have the option of paying directly or paying through ABNB via the send money option. *Monthly Stays* If you book for the month, AND/OR you get the 35% discount, then your electricity cost is NOT included in your discounted booking rate. You will have to pay separately for this. Your WiFI is included Water is included for $25 if you exceed this, you will be required to pay the difference. *Housekeeping* If you book for more than 2 weeks, you must pay the additional $50 house keeper cost, per 2 weeks, to have the house keeper come in to do cleaning and linen care maintenance. Guest access The entire apartment space is for your private enjoyment. Except for certain cupboards which are not accessible to guests. These are clearly labelled. This unit does not come with a laundry facility, however the complex has one which you can use by purchasing tokens on Tuesdays and Saturdays $350JMD each. Parking is unassigned. Housekeeping is at an extra cost of $50 per day (you can request this service in your booking or when you arrive) Housekeeping includes general cleaning and changing of bed linen and towels. Some light cooking requests are also allowed. Housekeeping is offered between the hours of 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. The garbage disposal is downstairs and to your right by the laundry room, you will see some steps going up to the skip. There is a clothes line downstairs to the back of the complex. We also provide airport pick up and drop offs and transportation and car rental services Other things to note Eco Stays is situated at the top floor (3rd) The wifi service provider is Flow. Please note there is a replacement cost for missing towels and linen ($50USD) and lights or water left on at check out ($50USD). There is a $30 per item penalty for damaged and unreasonably soiled linen or towels. THERE IS A SMOKING FINE OF $500USD FOR SMOKING IN THE UNIT. PLEASE HELP US STAY COMPETITIVE, PLEASE TURN OFF A/C AND WATER HEATER AND LIGHTS WHEN NOT IN USE. There is a security camera system on the premises. Please keep the doors and windows closed when AC is in use.
