Welcome to your home in Asuncion’s historic district! Here, you are just steps away from a vibrant night life and gastronomy. If you wish to stay at home, you will enjoy a fabulous view of the Asuncion bay, the Costanera and the Palacio de Lopez (Presidential office) from the balcony. This is a modern apartment that was recently refurbished and has a double bedroom, bathroom, living room, and fully equipped kitchen, and is ideal for couples, friends, or business travellers. The apartment is 50 m2 (538 ft) and is housed on the 4th floor of the building with an amazing view of the city. The building has 2 elevators and a 24/7 doorman in the entrance. The entire place is air-conditioned with high speed internet WIFI, and is suitable for a couple or 2 friends that prefer separate beds (you will have one bed in the bedroom and one in the sofa bed in the living room), with the possibility of placing a cradle in the room. Also, a hair dryer, bed linen, soap and towels are supplied. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, a wardrobe, double windows to eliminate any external noise, blackout curtains and an integrated safe. The living room is furnished with a 49” Smart TV, a comfy sofa bed, a desktop computer, and a dining table (bar table). The living room is open to the balcony so you may enjoy the view of the city from the comfort of the apartment. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, a nespresso, water boiler, sandwich maker (you can use it as toaster as well), blender, cookware, and silverware. Also, the kitchen area includes an iron, ironing board, dryer and washing machine. Although I will not be there in person 100% of the time, I will be available by social media and the Airbnb app anytime you need me. It will be my pleasure to guide you through the most iconic and historic places of the city as well, and share more about the culture, food, and lifestyle in the capital city. The department is located in the Old Centre of the capital city where culture, fun and bohemian spots are blended. The most important historic treasures of the city, including the Palacio de Lopez (presidential office), Panteon Nacional de los Heroes, Iglesia de la Encarnacion, Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion Cathedral, the Congress, Cabildo museum, Casa de la Independencia museum, are all a short distance away. Besides, if you want to enjoy an open-air space to walk, enjoy the sunset or sunrise on the Paraguay’s river basin, or pick up on some exercise, you have the recently completed Costanera José Asunción Flores. The area is well-served by means of transport, parking facilities, and laundries. Within walking distance, you will find cafes, parks, restaurants, pubs, nightclubs and a wide range of shops, which are the very soul of the city. You will find renowned traditional places to eat and convenience stores that are open 24/7. The apartment is about a 20-minute drive from Carmelitas and Villamorra neighbourhood in busy times, or 15 minutes during off-peak hours, and is accessible through taxis, UBER, MUV andother car-sharing apps.
