With three bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a full kitchen, comfortable living areas and private laundry, it's a great home base for exploring Bancroft and the Highlands — whether you're here for rockhounding, outdoor adventures, visiting family, attending an event or simply getting away from the city. The space * Located on Hwy 28, with easy access to local attractions * Centrally located, just steps from The Stone Kitchen, The Old Tin Shed, and downtown Bancroft * Hastings Heritage Trail is directly behind the house, accessible from Station Street or Bridge Street West * A short 4-10 minute walk to The Grante Restaurant, Bancroft Brew Pub, and Bancroft Brewing Co * Ideal for exploring the best of Bancroft's shops, dining, and outdoor activities Other things to note The property is located on a main road, so some traffic noise may be heard, particularly during busier times of the day. The home is a century property, so temperature adjustments can take a little longer than in newer construction. The thermostat is fully adjustable for your comfort. All bedrooms are furnished with clean, comfortable microfiber (polyester) bedding. We include this information upfront to help guests make an informed choice before booking. We also provide a starter kit of toiletries and household essentials (such as toilet paper, soap, etc.). If you run out during your stay, you’ll need to restock based on your needs.
