Kalinaw is a private studio at our secluded mountain sanctuary in Valencia, 25 minutes from Dumaguete. Surrounded by forest and mountains that feel worlds away from the city, yet close enough to duck out for dinner or a night out. Wake up to panoramic mountain views from your own private balcony, and step outside to a spring-fed infinity pool, cedar sauna, and fireplace lounge. The space 🌿 Important notice: this is an adults-only retreat! 🌿 Kalinaw is located on the second floor of our guest house, intimate and entirely your own. The property is shared with one other studio, meaning the pool and other amenities won't be crowded. The main house is also on the property and is our private residence. Other things to note A few things worth knowing before you arrive: 🌊 All water on the property flows from a natural mountain spring, clean and cold. Bottled water is also available for free. ⚡ The property runs on grid power, and short brownouts are expected roughly once a week. 🔇 We ask that guests respect the restful atmosphere at all times, with extra-quiet hours from 10PM to 7AM. 🚭 Smoking is not permitted indoors anywhere on the property, but is fine outdoors and away from other guests. 🧳 Check-in is at 2PM, and check-out at 11AM. Early or late arrangements can sometimes be accommodated, just ask in advance. 🌿 The property is surrounded by nature. Expect the sounds, sights, and occasional visitors that come with that, it's part of what makes this place special.
