Relax in St Albans at this peaceful house a mile from the city centre & within walking distance of many local attractions, such as Verulamium Park & Sopwell House Hotel. It is a short walk or taxi ride to both stations, with fast access to London, Watford or Brighton & the south coast. Easily accessible from the M1, M25 & A1M, it is an excellent base for exploring Herts & beyond. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed & the other with bunk beds. There is off street parking for one car. The space Cosy spacious two bedroom in St.Albans which has an independent front and back door. On the ground floor there is living room with smart TV and Alexa and Blink doorbell, a selection of board games and a welcome basket. There is also working space with a high speed wifi connection. Next door there is a separate kitchen diner for 4 people (and infant) with access to the private patio, garden and parking space. The kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, cooker, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere, fire extinguisher, fire blanket, first aid kit, high chair, iron and ironing board. On the first floor, there is a main bedroom with king sized bed, wardrobe, dressing table (with hairdryer)and sofa. Across the landing is a second bedroom with full size bunk beds (suitable to sleep adults or children) and a children’s play area and books. A cot with fresh linen is available on request. This means it can sleep four people and one baby in a cot. In between is a separate bathroom with a bath, shower, shampoo, conditioner, shower soap, toilet paper and towels. If you wish to check in early at 1pm or 2pm or check out at 11am, we can offer this service for any additional £5 per hour. If you wish to drop your bags of early, there is an additional £5 for this service. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and garden. If you walk the other way up Cottonmill Lane, you will reach St Michael's Manor Hotel, Verulam Park, St Albans Cathedral, St Albans Roman Verulamium Museum. Further up the hill you will reach the main high street with many 5 star and 4 star restaurants Thompson, Al-Farid, Centurion Club, The Ivy and Marmalade are but a few.
