The space This studio apartment is perfect for business/work travelers, interns/externs, students, or a fun week stay in Memphis! This cute apartment is located in the residential Central Gardens Historic District in Midtown, Memphis. The home was built in 1929 and comes complete with all the character and integrity known for homes built in that era. This 2nd-floor apartment comfortably accommodates 2 people, and includes a full-size bed; cozy chair and footstool; free wi-fi; smart tv; desk and chair; dining table with 2 seats; large closet with luggage rack, hanging shelves, steamer/iron, extra bedding and pillows; kitchen with all appliances (full-size electric stove/oven, full-size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and all cookware, dinnerware, utensils, as well as the kitchen basics: coffee, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, paper towels, general cleaning supplies; full bathroom with shower/tub stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and soap for your convenience; free laundry in basement, and free street-side parking. The Midtown area of Memphis consists of some of Memphis's oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods: Central Gardens Historic District (voted Memphis's most beautiful neighborhood) Cooper Young Historic District (Memphis's most walkable and fun neighborhood), Evergreen Historic District, and several others! Midtown is known as the eclectic, energetic, fun, melting pot heart of Memphis. It's home to artists, musicians, the Memphis Zoo, Overton Park, the Levitt Shell, Minglewood Hall, Overton Square, tons of restaurants, nightlife, shops, groceries, medical care, and so much more! We don’t discriminate, PERIOD! You be you! Unfortunately, we do not accept reservations for locals or parties of any kind. Guest access The entrance to this apartment is located down the driveway toward the rear of the building. Your apartment will be on the left at the top of the stairs. You will be sent an entry code and instructions on the day of your arrival. Other things to note This building is located across from a school. The street becomes a one-way street (west only) between the hours of 7:30-9am and 2:30-4pm each weekday. I always park facing west to make exiting easy. Memphis quiet hours are observed between 11pm-7am. Our cleaning fee is set at $200.00. That covers up to 2 hours of cleaning including laundry. Anything that exceeds the 2 hours will be charged to you at $100.00 per additional hour of cleaning. The building is almost 100-years-old and therefore has old plumbing. Please DO NOT FLUSH wipes (even the ones that claim to be flushable), paper towels, receipts, wrappers, feminine items (tampons, pads, etc...), diapers, cloth items, or anything else aside from human waste and normal amounts of toilet paper. Flushing any other than human waste or toilet paper may result in damage to the plumbing and additional costs.
