The space 🌾 Historic grain bin by the lake – simple self-catering cabin for up to 4 people Fish in front of the window, swimming fun around the corner: If you like nature, camping life and a dip in the cool water, this is the place to be. • In front of the cabin: a small pond – a habitat for growing fish. • Next to the cabin: a small stream. If you like, you can dip your feet in. • The right place for swimming is about 100 m away: two large natural swimming ponds on our property with a sunbathing lawn, fish, and real cooling off. Simple, charming cottage – ideal for hiking, swimming and switching off. For those who are looking for a real camping feeling with a solid roof over their heads – and who appreciate the rustic. ________________________________________ 🛏 Accommodation at a glance: You'll be staying in a historic 18th-century granary (approx. 3 × 4 m floor space) with a converted sleeping loft under the roof ridge (room height max. approx. 190 cm). Ideal for solo travelers, couples, friends or small families – close to nature, simple and with a lot of atmosphere. 🛌 Sleeping area in detail / attic floor: • 1 double bed (2 mattresses, each 90 × 200 cm) • 2 single beds (90 × 200 cm) • All beds are made with fresh linens upon arrival. 💡 Bed use based on the number of people booked: • 1–2 people: 1 double bed or 2 twin beds • 2–3 people: 1 double bed + 1 single bed • 3–4 people: 1 double bed + 2 single beds ❤ For parents traveling with children 0–2 years old: Toddlers up to 2 years sleep (free of charge) in their parents' bed. If an extra bed is used that was not booked, extra cleaning fees will apply. Our cleaning lady is very meticulous about this – just saying. Please note that the apartment is not designed for children (there is no child-friendly equipment). 🍽 Facilities on the ground floor: • Table with corner bench • Couch • Dresser • Lighting, power sockets • Access to the bedroom via a homemade, steep and narrow wooden staircase (please note!) • Cutlery for 4 people, some cups, glasses, cutting board, kettle and filter coffee maker (both electric). Showers and toilets are located in the nearby main house of the campsite, about 50 m away, and also between the two bodies of water opposite the bistro. Sanitary facilities in the main house (building sign: "Camping"): • Separate women's and men's showers • Separate women's and men's restrooms • Changing rooms between the swimming lakes (toilets also available) • Washing machine with coin box (behind the main house by the garbage bins) • Clotheslines outside the laundry room • Sink in the laundry room • Shared refrigerator in the outdoor kitchen • Kids area, playground, slide, volleyball court • 🛶 Inflatables allowed on the water 👉 You share all facilities outside the cabin with other guests. ________________________________________ 🔥 Outdoor fire pits: ☼ Fire pits: • Only allowed in designated areas (outlined with stones; see photos) • Firewood can be brought along or, with advance notice (min. 2 days) for a fee – can be ordered from local wood suppliers. Please inquire for info. • Do not leave the fire unattended • Please do not put food scraps/grease in the fire pit – be considerate of subsequent guests ________________________________________ 🔥 Heating (indoor) ☼ Cabin heating: • Summer: No heating. • Winter: A gas stove (on wheels, compatible with 5 kg and 11 kg propane gas cylinders) is in the cabin. 👉Guests, please bring your own gas to the SELF-CATERING cabin.👈 • Note: Gas cylinders, or just the gas filling, are available in 5 kg and 11 kg sizes in hardware stores in Austria and are not expensive. 👉 Help from us: If you don't have your own gas cylinder with you, you can optionally get one from us (we also only get them from the operator of the "Campingstüberl") or directly from the hostess of the "Campingstüberl" yourself. The Campingstüberl is about 150 meters from the cabin – so not far away. Please note the opening hours of the innkeeper. 💡 If you want us to get the gas cylinder for you: Please let us know at least 2 days prior to arrival. You pay the costs on arrival on site or via the Airbnb mediation system. ⚠️ Important note on personal responsibility: Since this is a self-catering cabin, you are responsible for the heating. If you arrive without a gas cylinder and have not booked our service in time (2 days in advance), you will have to take over the cabin cold. Spontaneous gas delivery on site or the provision of free gas is excluded. Just make sure you arrive well prepared so that it's cozy for you from the start, and bring what you need :o) ________________________________________ ⛺ The cabin concept: Staying with us is like tent camping – only with a solid roof over your head, a cozy sleeping area and a sofa! As this is a rustic self-catering cabin, the focus is on a simple, close-to-nature experience. Outside the summer season, two days off. • Bistro: Small snacks & drinks (seasonal/summer operation, between the two fish and swimming ponds) • In Turnau there is a Spar supermarket, a master bakery, a winery and pubs. • During the season, most alpine huts are open and offer drinks and food to hikers. • Food delivery service: You can use apps to have food delivered. There is a washing machine on the premises (in the main house opposite "Campingstüberl"). The entrance to the laundry room is in the back of the house.) As a guest of this apartment, you can use the swimming pool for free for swimming or diving and therefore do not need to pay any entrance fees. This bistro is open during the warm season (summer season operation). 🍻🍽 Restaurant: In about 50-90 meters you can access the restaurant "Campingstüberl". Campingstüberl is open 6 days a week for high season and 5 days a week in the cold seasons. All information about this restaurant and its opening hours are provided by search engines. 🐕‍🦺 Important information about pets & dogs: Regular pets and dogs are expressly not allowed on this property or on the entire grounds. Note for guests with legally protected service dogs: Assistance dogs are of course welcome in accordance with Airbnb policy. However, please note the strict rules of the recreation area for the protection of small children and bathers: Within the area, leashes are absolutely mandatory, and swimming is prohibited on the lawns.
