Description
If only we had nickel for every time we hear ... "It is so peaceful!". Nestled between the ever shifting ocean tide and a quaint hobby farm behind, our simple home brings nature right to your doorstep. An ideal place to decompress. A base camp for your North Island adventures, fishing excursions or to just escape the press of the masses and spend time with loved ones. This cute bright home is the perfect get away. The space In the fall (Sept/Oct), watch salmon leaping in the stream just out front while bald eagles soar overhead and the occasional black bear strolls by for a snack. It’s a front-row seat to one of nature’s great cycles—and it happens just steps from your deck. From late spring through summer, the area draws sport fishermen chasing salmon, halibut, and other coastal catches. If you’re coming to fish, this home is perfectly located—close to the boat launch to access Quatsino Inlet and the open West Coast fishing grounds. Return from a day on the water to a full kitchen for meal prep, a washer/dryer to clean up, and quiet space to relax between tides. For paddlers and explorers, launch a kayak or SUP right from the beach and explore the peaceful inlet. You may be joined by seals, otters, or seabirds as you glide along the shoreline. Back at home, soak in the indoor jetted tub or curl up by the wood stove with its glass door—perfect for warming up while enjoying the dancing flames. Whether you’re sipping something hot, reading, or watching the tide from the deck, you’ll feel the pace of life slow down around you. Inside, the 1,000 sq ft rancher is bright, cozy, and well-equipped. It sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms—one with a queen bed and the other with two twins—making it great for couples, friends, or small families. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and all the basics you need to cook and gather. There’s also a washer/dryer for convenience during longer stays. Outside, the large deck sits just feet from the high tide line. Watch the light shift across the water, sip your morning coffee with seabirds overhead, or unwind under the stars. The setting is peaceful, the views are wide open, and nature is always within reach. Whether you’re here to fish, paddle, hike, or simply rest, this little hideaway on the waterfront is a place to slow down and feel grounded in what matters most. Guest access The entire home is included in the listing. There is a smaller chest freezer in a shed beside the home available on a case by case basis. There is boat trailer parking available in the back of property - again on a case by case basis. Contact us for further details. Other things to note • Good cell reception throughout the property • Wildlife is common — please observe from a distance and do not leave food outside • Guests can launch kayaks or paddleboards directly from the beach • Ideal for fishing, paddling, hiking, or simply slowing down • Northern Vancouver Island weather can be dynamic and abrupt — potential for high rainfall, strong winds, summer heat, and coastal fog Registration Details Provincial registration number: H448965370
