Amor de Mar is a family owned, eco-friendly, charming boutique hotel located in-front of the main Montezuma Waterfall entrance. Relax in our sun chairs and hammocks to enjoy the spectacular ocean views in a quiet tropical atmosphere. Malinche - has 2 queen beds, A/C, mini fridge, private bathroom, coffee/tea maker and private terrace with sea view. The breakfast menu offers homemade bread, fresh fruit, smoothies, eggs, avocado toast, crepes and more! Breakfast is not included in the price. The space The hotel's intention is to benefit the local community and to respect the delicate ecosystem in which it resides. Amor de Mar operates on eco-friendly principles. We only use 100% biodegradable cleaning materials, dish wash and laundry soap. The bathrooms are equipped with water saving toilets and instant energy saving hot water heaters. We recycle and encourage visitors to refill their water bottles in our lobby. Amor de Mar is active in supporting many community projects such as: the recycle center, the children's orchestra, the local school, and improvement of local infrastructure. The hotel further supports the community by buying food from local providers such as eggs, fruits, jams, and smoked fish. Our organic vegetables are purchased from the local farmers market. The hotel features the work of many talented local artisans, displayed in our lamps, woodwork, decorations and mosaics. Guest access We are here to help you with whatever you need to make your trip unforgettable! We can assist you with booking any tours such as snorkeling at Tortuga Island, zip-lining to the waterfalls, surf lesson or horseback riding. We can also help you with setting up transportation needs and guiding you as best we can during your stay with us. Massages are also available at the hotel for a super relaxing afternoon followed by hammock lounging in the garden. Other things to note The price reflected is our base price. Depending on the season and the room of your choice, the price may be lowered or raised.
