Welcome to our cozy 70 m2 chalet, nestled at an altitude of 1200 m in the Plaine des Cafres. Enjoy a large flowered and wooded plot of 1000 m2, a heated pool and a bird's eye view of the Indian Ocean and the majestic Piton des Neiges. We also live on site, and Mikilati will be happy to prepare good meals and breakfasts for you by reservation, or to share our local recommendations. Ideal for hikes to the Volcano, Grand Bassin, etc. The space The accommodation consists of a typical Creole veranda overlooking the flower and tree garden where it is possible to eat. A large room serves as a kitchen (fully equipped), dining room and living room (TV, internet box). This room is equipped with two comfortable double beds. You have a view of the pool on one side and the garden on the other. Finally, the bedroom has a pool view with a very comfortable king size bed, a desk area and a single bed in the mezzanine. There is also storage space in every room. The bathroom is located between the bedroom and the living room. Guest access The property is self-catering. You will be a 15-minute walk from the many shops of the 23rd arrondissement (bakeries, Leclerc, health center, pharmacy, etc.) Other things to note We are in an eco-tourism process. 3 photovoltaic plants offset our carbon footprint related to the activity of the gîte (including the swimming pool and electricity consumption). We favor healthy eating with quality and local products, and there is plenty of that in this very agricultural part of the island!
