The space Maison Nel(le) Botanique is a stylish and charming building from 1863 that honors both the botanical atmosphere and the timeless muse Nel, by artist Rik Wouters. Located in the Rik Woutersstraat, where the artist couple lived around the beginning of the 20th century, the property exudes a harmonious mix of nature and creativity. In 2024, it was sustainably renovated, respecting both heritage and modern energy standards. The neighborhood offers the perfect balance between tranquility and bustling city activities. A stone's throw away is the shopping street and 'De Vleeshalle', a popular indoor food truck market where visitors can enjoy various culinary delights. This makes the area ideal for those who love gastronomy and conviviality. Various parking options are available for guests, both paid and free. The most interesting option is the large free parking lot at 'De Loods', just a 10-minute walk away. The property features seven unique studios, each with its own animal theme: Moose Mountain, Whisker Woods, Monkeytown, Lion's Lair, Badger Hill, Fancy Fox, and Bunny Burrow. Spread over three floors, these studios are fully equipped with comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, private kitchens and modern private bathrooms. This offers guests a high level of comfort and privacy. On the ground floor, guests can relax in the common relaxation room or enjoy the cozy terrace. The building has large windows with sun protection film on the outside and sun protection on the inside where necessary, so that the rooms always remain light, fresh and pleasant. Maison Nel(le) Botanique offers a unique experience, where a botanical atmosphere and modern comfort come together in a quiet street, in the middle of the city center, with a subtle ode to the timeless muse Nel. Guest access Guests of Maison Nelle Botanique can access the building via a convenient and secure system. Upon arrival, they can open the front door by entering a code on a keypad. In addition, each studio has its own key box, which can also be opened with a personal code. Both codes are provided to guests on the day of arrival, allowing them easy and independent access to both the building and their studio. During your stay Guests can always contact us via phone or the platform's message center for immediate support. We respond quickly to questions and offer help where necessary to ensure that their stay is as pleasant as possible. In case of urgency, we advise you to contact us by phone. Our phone numbers will be shared with you before arrival via a personal message. Other things to note For each stay up to 7 days, we provide the following per guest as standard: 1 set of bed linen, 2 large towels, 2 small towels, 1 foot towel and 1 kitchen towel. For stays longer than 7 days, an additional package is provided per additional week, along with an additional cleaning (once every 7 days). An extra bed and bath linen package is available on request for €20 (excluding cleaning and making the bed). Requests must be submitted before arrival.
