Little Puckridge

An easy to reach (by car, bike or public transport) cosy escape. Stylishly decorated, it has its own private garden, outside kitchen and hot tub with fantastic farmland views in every direction. Situated in the beautiful West Essex countryside on the edge of London with its multitude of attractions. The Shepherd’s Hut is also within walking distance of two Forests (Epping and Hainault), two Central Line Stations (Chigwell and Grange Hill) various small villages and numerous local attractions. The space The Hut is situated at the far end of our garden with its own dedicated access from our drive. Fully secluded from the rest of our property, the Hut has its own decking area and a small paved terrace with direct access to the adjoining fields. Guests have exclusive use of the Hut and associated space including the outside kitchen for cooking alfresco. Additional cooking facilities are provided in the Hut itself. A welcome basket is provided on arrival including snacks and supplies for a first breakfast. A local grocery store and a selection of cafes, restaurants and bars are a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away. Local branches of Waitrose, Sainsbury’s etc are within a three mile drive. Deliveroo etc will all deliver to the Hut within an hour if required. One dedicated parking space is provided on our drive for guests. The Hut is less than 20 metres away from the parking space via a well lit and maintained path. Guest access The Hut is accessed via a side gate from the drive and then a second set of gates adjoining the Hut itself. Guests have exclusive use of everything beyond the second set of Gates. Guests need to cross a section of our garden to reach the Hut and associated area. We would appreciate it if the garden was only used for access and not treated as a general area for the Hut. Other things to note The Hut and the rest of our property is situated on a narrow country lane, which gets a volume of passing traffic at various times. This creates a certain level of traffic noise, which might deter those guests who prefer complete quiet. Most guests and other visitors find that the tranquil country views and other plus points of the Hut more than compensate for this mild negative point and the traffic noise is only heard if they actively tune into it.
