Welcome to Sparrow Cottage! Nestled on a quiet street and surrounded by nature, this cottage is the perfect place to escape the city noises and unwind. Rather you're a couple on a romantic getaway, trail adventurers, a family looking for quality time or someone simply wanting a quiet weekend to finish a long awaited book, this place and its surroundings have a little something to please everyone! The space The Cottage: It's located just a few minutes from Hawk's Nest Highway which boasts beautiful scenic views of the Delaware River and amazing trails for those looking to explore! 8 minutes from Delaware River rafting and canoeing! 5 minutes from the beautiful Kadampa Meditation Center. 25-30 minutes from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Narrowsburg and other cute surrounding towns! It's also close to delicious restaurants, local breweries and the most charming coffee shops one can only expect to find on a weekend away in the Catskills! The cottage has an indoor wood burning stove, outdoor fire pit, spacious deck with BBQ grill, outdoor seating and games! Ground floor Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen: Our cottage has an open layout living room, which gives view to the wood burning stove as well as the dining room or anyone whipping something up in the fully stocked kitchen! It's the perfect set up for delightful conversations and quality time. The dining table fits 4 comfortably but there's always room for more. It's located right beside a luminous glass door which leads out into the deck. On this ground floor, you'll also find a half bathroom and a TV room with a comfortable couch for those who enjoy movies. We also have some fun board games and basic exercise equipment. The overhead garage door design in this room gives it a fun, hang out vibe for any group! Second Floor There are two bedrooms located upstairs as well as the main bathroom. The bedrooms are both equipped with queen beds, nightstands, nightlights, full sized closets if you wish to fully unpack, fresh linens, extra pillows and cozy blankets. Large towels, bathroom amenities such as hair dryer, hair products, make up wipe removers and more are also available for the upmost comfort. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage as well as the washer and dryer available on the first floor. You will also have access to the entire property outdoors which includes the fire pit and deck. It is all yours, enjoy! Other things to note Please note, the bedrooms/upstairs are equipped with mini splits which can be used for heating or cooling depending on season. Heating throughout the entire cottage. We also have an AC downstairs. We allow pets for a fee but please be mindful of our rugs and furniture. We don’t allow pets on the beds, couches, or any furniture. No smoking of any kind inside our cottage. While our house is best suited for 4 guests, we will occasionally allow additional guests so as long as they realize there are no beds to accommodate. There are two couches as well as a queen air mattress available. Our cottage was a labor of love and we want to make your stay is as enjoyable as possible.
