Cozy Cottage in a Catskills Lake Community

For excitement, try the casino, farms, or relax at the indoor water park. Our charming cottage in a picturesque lake community offers tranquility and natural beauty. Enjoy a movie using the projector in the living room. Guest access Guests can enjoy the entire house, except one closet used for storage. Guests will enter the house through the front main door using the passcode provided. Other things to note Enjoy the comforts of home at this cozy, beautifully renovated Catskill Mountain cottage. We provide clean towels, linens, basic kitchen necessities, soap, shampoo, and excellent Wi-Fi. Out front, there’s a driveway with space for at least two vehicles. Enter through the front porch and into the spacious living room. Relax in the couch and enjoy movies night on the smart projector using your subscriptions. Books, games, and local brochures are available. In the kitchen, you’ll find a stainless steel fridge, toaster oven, microwave, full set of cutlery, mugs, dishware, bowls, cups, and cutlery, and a Keurig coffee maker. K-cup Coffee is provided for our guests’ enjoyment. The dining room table seats four. Two bedrooms offer comfortable mattresses, pillows, and black-out shades for a great night’s sleep. Bedroom #1: - Queen-sized bed - Nightstand - Closet with iron/ironing board and ceiling fan Bedroom #2: This spacious room accommodates adults and children. It features a bunk bed with a twin mattress over a full-size mattress. - One armchair. The bathroom has ample toiletries in the medicine cabinet, first aid kit, and a hair iron under the sink. It includes a tub and shower. The back deck provides a relaxing spot with a table and chairs near the gas BBQ grill for Spring and summer months. Outdoor smores-making are possible around the fire pit on the lawn. Enjoy the clear mountain sky and endless stars. A hammock is available in the Spring and summer. Each bedroom has a wall heater to ensure comfort in each room. and window air conditions for the summer. A 13,000 BTU split system in the dining area provides extra cooling or heating during extreme temperatures. The 4+ acre lake is located just a few hundred steps from the house and is a wonderful place to play or relax. It is accessed via a community beachfront area. The beachfront area (grass, not sand) has a picnic table for lakeside dining. The lake allows non-motorized boating and activities and is stocked with an array of fish for catch and release fishing. The lake is less than 6' deep in most spots and is great for swimming. There is a dock in the middle during warmer months, perfect for lounging on or for jumping into the lake. The lake usually freezes over during the winter, allowing for ice skating, ice fishing or tubing. Please make sure it is frozen solid before walking on it! Please do not access the lake from any other area, as all other access points are private property. Pets are allowed case by case, please let us know in advance if you plan to bring one. If you bring a pet, an extra $25 cleaning fee will be charged after booking. We strive to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. We have a caretaker in the community and live nearby in case anything is needed. We always listen to suggestions to keep improving the house and the supplies that we offer. Please take a moment to review the following guidelines before entering the lake community: Safety First: Follow all posted signs as there is no lifeguard on duty. Swimming is at your own risk. Paddle Boat Use: Guests are welcome to use the host-owned pedal boat marked with the house number. Please refrain from using any other boats in the area. Available on the spring and summer months.
