The space Welcome to your cozy and private studio retreat, thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and convenience in a tranquil farm setting. This intimate space is perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a unique getaway that blends rustic charm with modern amenities. Our farmhouse, to which your studio is attached, was originally built in 1914 within the historic Hopewell heritage area, a site deeply rooted in the history of original homesteaders and families. Staying here offers a genuine connection to Florida's past. Your Private Haven: Attached to our main farmhouse, the studio boasts its own private entrance and dedicated parking spot for one vehicle, ensuring your complete independence and ease of access throughout your stay. Upon arrival, you'll enter through our secure, coded gate (code provided after booking, please keep it closed at all times for the safety of our farm animals). A path leads directly to your studio door. Thoughtful Layout & Comforts: The main living area is an open-plan design, maximizing comfort within a compact footprint. You'll find a supremely comfortable queen-sized bed featuring a high-quality mattress and premium linens, promising a restful night's sleep. Beside the bed, ample lighting and charging outlets are conveniently placed. For dining or working, there's a small, functional dining area with seating for four, perfect for enjoying a simple meal or using your laptop. Your Convenient Kitchen: Our well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need for preparing delicious meals and refreshments. It includes a full-sized refrigerator with a freezer compartment to store your perishables, a microwave, a four cup coffee maker, Kruieg, and importantly, a stove and oven for all your cooking needs. We also stock essential plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, and basic cooking utensils for your convenience. ***Sink does not have a garbage disposal, please do not put food down the drain*** Private Ensuite Bathroom: Your private bathroom offers a refreshing experience with a stand-up shower, toilet, and sink. It features charming vintage 1960s tile, preserving a piece of the property's history, while being recently remodeled for modern comfort and convenience. We provide soft, plush towels, hand soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer, so you can pack light. Connected & Comfortable: Stay connected with high-speed Wi-Fi perfect for streaming, working, or Browse. A Smart TV (google and roku) allows you to access your favorite streaming services (like Netflix, Hulu, etc., using your own accounts). We also ensure year-round comfort with an efficient air conditioning and heating system, allowing you to set your ideal temperature regardless of Florida's weather. Natural Light & Farm Views: Large windows throughout the studio invite an abundance of natural light and offer peaceful views of the surrounding farm landscape. While we are a working farm, the studio is designed to provide a private sanctuary. Please Note: As this is an attached studio, you may occasionally hear sounds typical of a family home or a working farm (e.g., distant animal sounds). We strive to minimize any disturbance and ensure your peaceful enjoyment of the space. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the studio and a private outdoor seating area. Access to the property is via a coded gate, which must be closed at all times for the safety of our animals and property. The gate code will be provided to you after booking. Parking is limited to one vehicle in the designated spot directly by the studio entrance. Please note that access to the rest of the farm is restricted. Other things to note • Animal Interactions: For your safety and the welfare of our animals, all interactions with our KuneKune pigs and other farm animals require prior arrangement and host supervision. We encourage you to request these experiences in advance of your stay. • Farm-to-Table Offerings: As part of our commitment to sustainable farming, we may have fresh, ethically raised pork and delicious sourdough bread available for purchase. Please inquire via the Airbnb app if you are interested. • Rural Setting: You may occasionally see local wildlife around the property, such as birds, squirrels, and other small creatures typical of a rural Florida setting. We aim to provide a peaceful retreat, but it is a natural, working environment. • Farm Footwear: For your comfort and safety, we recommend wearing closed-toe shoes when exploring any outdoor areas of the property. • Septic System: Our property uses a septic system. We kindly ask guests to be mindful of what is flushed and avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper to prevent issues. • We are not responsible for power outages due to weather or equipment malfunctions that cause any food spoilage.
