Thank you! 😊 The space Dear Guests, Thank you for considering our lovely (but small) room for your stay. Before booking, please read all the information below carefully and confirm that you've read everything by replying with the keyword you'll find at the end 😊 👉 We live in a 2-bedroom flat and occasionally rent out one of the rooms to guests. 👉 Location: The nearest train station, Preston Park, is just a 10-minute walk away. The bus stop Varndean Road is only 1 minute away. Bus 5, 5A, 270, 271, 272, 273. Note: Parking is limited and can be tricky. Past guests have mentioned that it’s sometimes possible to find a space within a 5–10 minute walk. Please double-check if the location is really the right fit for you and confirm this in your booking enquiry. Thank you! 👉 The room is very basic – it includes a bed, a table, and a chair. Please make sure this setup suits your needs before booking. 👉 We provide clean sheets, blankets, and one towel per guest – all included in the price. 👉 Kitchen use is not permitted – this includes no access to cutlery, plates, or appliances. However, you are welcome to use the kettle to make yourself a tea. If you'd like to store something in the fridge, please let me know in advance. Thank you! Feel free to ask for using the kitchen if you like to stay longer. 👉 Please always leave your shoes in the hallway outside your room. 👉 Important: This is a regular 2-bedroom flat – doors do not have individual locks. We rely on mutual trust and respect. We will never enter your room during your stay unless there is an emergency. 👉 Please remember to turn off the heating when you leave the flat. 👉 No visitors allowed during your stay. 👉 Occasionally, our friend’s adorable dogs stay with us. 👉 Gentlemen: This is a ladies’ household. Kindly use the toilet sitting down and close the lid afterward. (Fun fact: In Feng Shui, closing the toilet lid is said to help increase the flow of wealth – even for guests!) 👉 Check-out time is 10:00 AM. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
