Right here, at the Gasthof Postwirt in Predlitz, you will find your starting point for adventures – and your oasis to arrive. 🌄 For cyclists The Mur bike path is right outside the door. A quick hearty breakfast in the morning, then you can ride along the river through meadows, pastures and small villages. In the evening, your room awaits – including a safe bicycle room – and maybe a cool drink in the garden overlooking the countryside. 🏍️ For bikers The Nockalmstraße, Katschberg and many other panoramic roads are just a stone's throw away. After a day full of curves and views, you can park your motorcycle comfortably at the farm, exchange stories with like-minded people at the bar and enjoy hearty Styrian home cooking. ⛷️ For skiers & winter sports enthusiasts In winter, you can reach Kreischberg or Turracher Höhe in 20 minutes. Powder snow, perfectly prepared slopes, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails await – then warm up in the Postwirt's sauna or treat yourself to a Kaiserschmarrn at the inn. 🚗 For those passing through Perfectly located between Salzburg, Carinthia and Styria – whether a short stopover or a longer stay: at the Postwirt you will find peace, a soft bed, good food and the warmth of a real country inn. Because it feels like arriving. Here you are not a hotel guest, but part of a house with history and heart. Guest access The Postwirt is a cozy, family-run country inn in the heart of Predlitz (Stadl-Predlitz), Styria - right on the border with Salzburg. Quietly located, overlooking the Mur River and the Turrachbach, and yet conveniently located: It is just a stone's throw to the B95 federal highway, the Tauernautobahn and the Murtalbahn. The house is lovingly designed: with garden, terrace, sauna, bowling alley or curling rink depending on the season, and lounge areas where you can end the day comfortably. Other things to note The accommodation still has to pay EUR 2.50 per guest per night for the local tax. Children up to the age of 15 are free. Since we don't have a reception, just ask at the inn after checking in. If we are not there on arrival, we will leave the key in the key box.
