The spacious apartment is well-equipped for a group of 15 guests, for everyone looking for a space to relax together with relatives, friends or participants of various, including "brainstorming" gatherings and courses. A relaxed stay in the countryside with authentic contact with nature and all the comforts that Gornji Grad offers (shop, restaurants and taverns, baker, butcher...) can also be a starting point for trips around Slovenia. The space The first floor has a covered entrance balcony – porch, followed by a large space with a kitchen and dining room on one side and a space for socializing (by the fireplace) on the other. Here you will also find HiFi, WIFI and TV, as well as a projector for your cinema shows. Two bathrooms have a shared hallway with additional sinks. The apartment also has access to a large furnished sun terrace. From the living area, a spiral staircase leads you to the gallery, where you can retreat if you need some peace or want to flip through one of the books. On the other side is a bedroom with 13 beds and partition walls and shelves. There are two additional beds in the living room. Free parking spaces are nearby. Other things to note Gornji Grad is located 50 km northeast of Ljubljana, 70% of the hilly landscape is covered by forest. It was inhabited as early as the Roman era, and in the 12th century a Benedictine monastery was founded here. In the 16th century, a mansion –summer residence of the bishops of Ljubljana and in the 17th century, the largest cathedral in Slovenia in terms of volume were erected. In the defensive tower – Štekl there are museum collections, a gallery and a tourist office next to it with all information about the natural and cultural sights of the town and its surroundings, cycling and hiking trails and the possibility of renting an electric bicycle. Apartment and glamping Tlaka are part of the Maechtig homestead, which dates back 400 years. The estate begins in thevery center of the town at the confluence of the Šokatnica creek and the Dreta river. Along the stream, there are lining up the main house, our renovated outbuilding with apartment, an orchard with four living-sleeping waggons, an apiary, a fruitdryer, a barn with a hayloft, a double hayrack, meadows, fields and a forest….
