Welcome to Wren Cottage. An awesome base to explore the southwest region or just to get away and chill in a comfortable and relaxing space. Enjoy drinks on the deck to take in the rural views and evening sunsets. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The space Wren Cottage is a small home nestled amongst green rolling farm hills overlooking the northern branch of the Capel River, in the beautiful, southwest Western Australia. Situated on a working farm, only seven minutes out of the nearby town of Donnybrook, but a world away from the big city lights. Wren Cottage is set up for 2 adults, its non-smoking and dogs are welcome, even your horses as we have a paddock for it to roam in. But please note all pets by prior arrangement due to us having our own pets on the farm. Information requested about your pet is breed, age and temperament. No pets on bed or furniture. The property area is fenced. Quality fit out including a King bed, Smart TV, leather lounge, air conditioning and free high speed wifi. A fully equipped open plan kitchen complete with microwave, cooktop, air fryer, full sized fridge & freezer, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary pods and basic pantry supplies. A functional outdoor deck area for relaxing in and enjoying the country environment on an outdoor lounge and lovely northerly views across the small valley. A fire pit area also available during fire season. Guest access Wren Cottage is on a working farm on a gravel road in a rural and agricultural setting. The cottage is on its own and secured by fencing & gates and has private access. Plenty of parking is available. Other things to note Donnybrook is one stop on the Bunbury Geographe Wine Trail with a selection of great local producers to sample from. We are located up a generally quiet Country road that is not far from the small townships of Donnybrook, Capel, Kirup and Balingup. We’re on the doorstep to the Ferguson Valley and further to Margaret River. There are bike trails (including the Munda Biddi) close by plus Wineries and many places to visit. For our guest safety: In the unlikely event of a local bush fire you may be required to evacuate. If this eventuates guests would be fully refunded for the balance of their stay. Guests also have access to a secondary exit point if required. Please note that our natural environment hosts a bunch of other creatures including reptiles, amphibians, insects, birds, mammals, etc. We cannot guarantee a critter free stay but we are happy to help you if you come across one that bothers you.
