This property has three separate living spaces, each with its own private area. While these spaces are detached with no shared walls, it’s not uncommon to see other guests outside. Guest access The Lofty Lodge is located on the northwest side of the main house, offering a private retreat. The property features three separate living spaces, each with its own private outdoor area (patio, deck, or yard), ensuring private lounging areas. While all units are detached with no shared walls, it’s not uncommon to see other guests outside. We do monitor outdoor areas via security cameras but may miss something, so please let us know if an issue arises. Please note, your booking includes access to The Lofty Lodge guesthouse only. Guests are not permitted to enter the main house, the tiny home behind it, or their respective outdoor areas (such as the tiny home's patio or the main house deck and yard). For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out. Even though we allow pets, you can still expect the same high standards of cleanliness as a non-pet-friendly rental. Our cleaning team is thorough and meticulous, ensuring that every guest arrives to a fresh and spotless home. ★ PEST CONTROL ★ We provide regular pest control treatments. While rare, minor pest sightings can occur in any home. If you encounter a significant pest issue, please contact us immediately so we can address it promptly. Refunds for pest-related concerns are considered only in cases of verified, severe infestations, as determined by our pest control professionals, in line with Airbnb’s Guest Refund Policy. ★ SHARED PARKING AND WALKWAYS ★ The Lofty Lodge is a detached guesthouse on the northwest side of the main home. This property has three separate living spaces, each with its own private area. While these spaces are all detached with no shared walls, it’s not uncommon to see other guests outside. The large shared parking area accommodates up to two vehicles for the Lofty Lodge guests. The parking area is shared with guests from the main house and detached tiny home, ensuring plenty of space and easy access. Please follow the parking instructions provided at check-in to ensure a smooth experience for all guests. ★ PETS ALLOWED ★ You’re welcome to bring along your furry family members! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, you must include all pets in your reservation and complete the pet fee payment prior to check-in. The Lofty Lodge is suitable to accommodate pets, but please note that access to the yard is not permitted. However, there is a park directly across the street where you’re welcome to take your pets. Just be sure to keep them on a leash, as it is not a designated dog park. ★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS OR UNAUTHORIZED GUESTS ★ We ask you to treat our home with respect to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. All guests must be confirmed with the host and any extra guest fees must be paid, if applicable, before arrival. If you plan to bring more than 2 guests, an extra guest fee of $20 per person per day applies for any additional guests ages 2 and up. ★ NO SMOKING ★ Please refrain from smoking during your stay! Any smoking evidence will incur a $500 fee for odor removal and furniture cleaning. ★ YARD CARE, SNOW REMOVAL & EXTERIOR ACCESS NOTICE ★ Our yard care team services the property every other weekend from March through November, which may fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Because their route and timing can vary, we’re unable to guarantee exactly when they’ll arrive—so guests should assume a visit will occur during their stay if it overlaps with a scheduled weekend. If this would be a concern during your reservation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can attempt to reschedule their visit. From December through February, our snow removal team may access the exterior of the property as needed, depending on weather conditions. This may occur at any time, including early mornings or late evenings, to ensure safe access to the property. Please also be aware that the hosts, maintenance workers, yard care crew, or snow removal team may be present on the exterior of the property at any time during your stay. While we always aim to provide notice when possible, there may be occasions when this is not feasible. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept the possibility of exterior access without prior notice. If you have any concerns or specific requests, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help. ★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★ For the safety, security, and enforcement of house rules, our property has four cameras: two overlooking the shared parking area, one monitoring the front yard/street, and one facing the patio area. Please note that these cameras are solely for security purposes and to enforce house rules. They are not actively monitored unless there is a safety concern or security issue. We prioritize the privacy of our guests and do not use these cameras for any other purpose. Your privacy and comfort are important to us.
