Cotton Bay cottage is a unique space in a beautiful place where you and up to 5 other guests can relax and have lots of fun. Located in a peaceful cul de sac just a pebble’s throw from the popular surf spot at Freights Bay. Enjoy the panoramic sea view from the deck, the master bedroom and living room. We invite you to embrace a slower and simpler way of life here - island life. It’s pure tropical living with lots of style. Our motto is ‘your holiday is as important to us as it is to you ‘ The space Cotton Bay Cottage is a beautiful seaside cottage of over 1600 sq ft of open plan living space which has been recently renovated. It can comfortably sleep six persons with a large, gorgeous, front garden of over 4500 sq ft. with views over the Caribbean Sea which enables you to indulge in outdoor living. It’s private and fully fenced so the little ones can play quite safely. In the garden there is a pergola where you can sit and enjoy the sunset with a rum punch in hand. Sun loungers to chill in and table and chairs for you to dine alfresco in the garden which is beautifully lit with lots of stringed twinkling lights for that magical feel. Leading out from the master bedroom and the living room is a fully covered wooden deck with spectacular sea views for more alfresco dining and hammocks and lounge chairs to just chill in. Open plan living room with a 65” smart TV, dining table for 6 persons and a fully equipped kitchen with lots of space for everyone to enjoy. En-suite master bedroom with California king bed, lots of cupboard space and a fantastic view of the sea whilst sitting up in bed. Second bedroom also has a king sized bed which can be configured as two twin beds if desired , lots of cupboard space and a large bathroom adjacent to it. Then there’s a double sofa bed in the living room. The house is air conditioned and there are also Boreas ceiling fans throughout the property, plus insect screens on all window and doors, a safe deposit box, and a washing machine. The best thing is simply waking up, opening the curtain and climbing back under the sheets to enjoy watching the ocean from bed. Guest access You will have sole access to the entire property including the very large garden of over 4500 sq foot. While the building has a no smoking policy, we have an area for smoking with seating in the garden which is specifically for your enjoyment. There is a shared laundry room with a washing machine - one free wash per week Clothes are dried on the washing lines provided at the side of the building Other things to note We are all about responsible tourism so we’ve embraced sustainable and renewable ways to keeping our beautiful island clean and green To this end all 3 AC units are operated by meters which use tokens. You're provided with a free token per bedroom for each night that you're staying with us. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area also has AC - you can purchase additional tokens if desired. Each token will enable you to use the AC for 8 hours. If you require more tokens they can be purchased at a cost of US$10/BDS$20 per token in CASH from us. Cleaning fee-US$100 per clean. Mandatory clean is required once per week which includes change of bed linen as well as beach and bath towels. Airbnb only facilitates the collection of one (1 ) housekeeping service, which is the end of stay clean, so if you are staying more than 7 days with us, you will be required to pay for the subsequent housekeeping services at via Airbnb “Request Money” or in cash at checkin. Extra person charge is US$35 per person, per night after the first 4 guests. Maximum of 6 guests On the day of housekeeping service we ask that you leave the house for at least 3 hours so that the housekeeper can safely clean and change your towels and linen. Please note that no unregistered guests are allowed in the apartment or on the property at any time without prior permission. Strictly no overnight visitors. Any guest visiting must provide a copy of their government issued photo ID. Surf boards and bicycles and to be stored in the garden which is secure. ABSOLUTELY NOT IN THE HOUSE OR ON THE DECK as this causes damage to the walls and furniture. This rule is strictly enforced. We provide you with a complimentary starter pack which includes toilet paper, kitchen roll, garbage bags, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, washing up liquid etc Please be sure to turn off the AC, fans and lights and close all windows and doors when you go out. No open flames, burning of candles and/or incense anywhere in the house, on the wooden deck or anywhere on the property. With the exception of the BBQ grill which must be used in the garden only. WITH AGREEMENT, PETS ARE WELCOME. WITH PRIOR CONSENT, WE ALLOWE ONE SMALL WELL BEHAVED PET (CAT OR DOG) NOT WEIGHTING MORE THAN 10 LBS There is a Pet Cleaning Fee of US$120 for the cleaning and sanitising of the cottage. Pets bedding must be brought . Please come equipped with a carrier and bedding so that your pet does not sleep on the beds or furniture Your pet must be supervised at all times and must not be left in the house unattended to prevent any possible damages. You will be held responsible for all property damages resulting from your pet. If there is anything that you think can be damaged or scratched by your pet, let us know so that we can remove it. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet. Be it fur, dropped pet food, litter etc., the house must be kept sanitized at all times. Pet waste should be cleaned up as quickly as possible. It's more sanitary than waiting and reducing problems with odour. This goes for waste in the garden/yard or if your pet has an accident in the house. Please bring disposable pet poop gloves and waste bags for the responsible disposal of your pet's litter We ask that you respect our neighbours by ensuring that your pet does not bark or create any disturbances.
