Construction will take place in the front of the home approximately April 20 through July 10. A photo in the listing highlights the area where work will be occurring. During this time, the construction area will be safely fenced, and access to the property will be via the back gate. While there may be noticeable daytime construction noise, work is scheduled primarily Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with very limited activity on some weekends. Guests will continue to enjoy full access to the BBQ and fire pit area, so you’ll still have plenty of space to relax and unwind outdoors. Once construction is complete, all future stays will enjoy access to our beautiful new pool, and we can’t wait to share this exciting new amenity. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we make this upgrade—we know it will be worth it! 🚜 A Working Vineyard & Olive Oil Farm Please note: Oaks and Madeira is a working vineyard and olive oil farm. You may see our friendly farm staff on the property during your stay as they go about their day-to-day tasks. They will not disturb you and are respectful of guest privacy at all times—but you may spot tractors, vineyard maintenance, or olive grove work happening nearby. 🔑 Important Guest Info Rental Contract: A signed rental agreement is required within 48 hours of booking confirmation. Security Deposit: A refundable $750 security deposit is required per stay to cover potential incidentals. Shared Property: Please note that the owners live on-site in the primary residence, and there is another separate rental unit on the property. Quiet Hours: Starts at 10:00 PM. Please be mindful of neighbourhood noise and local ordinances. Access & Roads: Easily accessible via paved roads; standard vehicles are suitable. Cancellation Fee: We understand that plans can change. TVR is committed to offering a flexible cancellation policy whenever possible; however, all cancellations will incur a $75 cancellation processing fee. We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance to help protect their vacation investment in the event of unexpected changes. 🌟 Guest Perks Program When you stay with Templeton Vacation Rentals, you get exclusive perks throughout Paso Robles: discounts at wineries, local dining, tours, and experiences! Details and codes are sent before your stay so you can plan the perfect visit. ⚠️ Please Note: Due to the remote location of this property and the private one-way dirt road with a narrow single-lane bridge, no oversized vehicles are permitted. This includes large trucks, commercial vehicles, RVs, trailers, and dually trucks. We’re always looking for ways to make our property even better for our guests! Currently, we’re working on some exciting upgrades, solar with battery backup, and even a pool in the future. While you may notice occasional improvements happening around the property, rest assured that all work will be wrapped up by 5 PM each day, and no work will take place on weekends. The grounds may not be picture-perfect during this process, but your comfort, privacy, and experience will always remain our top priority. Due to extreme fire risk, the wood-burning fireplace and Santa Maria–style BBQ are not for guest use and may only be operated by a hired private chef. A propane BBQ is provided for guest use. Guest access Guests have full access to the main house and all outdoor living areas, including the patio, fire pit, bocce court and pickle ball court. Please note: Access to the barn, any outbuildings, and all areas that are roped off or marked “Private Property” is strictly prohibited to ensure your safety and privacy during your stay. The access code and other important entry instructions will be sent to you the day before check-in via the booking app and email. Due to extreme fire risk, the wood-burning fireplace and Santa Maria–style BBQ are not for guest use and may only be operated by a hired private chef. A propane BBQ is provided for guest use. This home does not have an EV charger and cannot accommodate electric vehicle charging. Please make offsite charging plans if needed. We are not responsible for any electrical issues caused by plugging in a vehicle. No mail or packages may be received at this property.
