We are located in San Antonio right next to Ajijic and Lake Chapala all accessible by walking, bus or taxi. Guadalajara is approx less than 1 hour from our condo, where you can get your retail therapy from Costco, Home Depot and other larger shopping stores. However you can also shop locally at the many amazing stores in Ajijic village. There are various fresh food markets each week, offering fresh fruit and vegetables and a wide array of local delicacies, be sure to check them out. Shop, have some lunch and stroll on the Malecon! There is a parking spot available to you with the condo rental. If you do not have a vehicle, you can still get around very easily, as buses are very frequent.. buses and taxis are very affordable. Also walking is an amazing way to explore the local businesses and get to meet some people You will be amazed at the ease of access to local businesses all within walking distance.. I have used the following services: nail salons, hairdressers and amazing bakeries.. hey we need to be pampered! The immediate area is heavily populated with expats, so you will also find someone to chat to and gain some advise.. that is free! Also like to add that Lake Chapala and area voted the 2nd best climate in the world by National Geographic... that's why we love this region!
