The SUNRISE Suite is one of three at Jackson Family Farm Stay (SUNSET/BARN/SOPHIE units) located on 60 acre organic fruit farm near the darling town of Kingsburg and a short drive to King’s Canyon/Sequoia National Parks. This compact, two-story unit has 1 queen bed in a loft and 1 twin daybed in the same room, full bath, kitchenette, and balcony overlooking the King’s River and organic orchards. Coffee + tea are provided. Pickleball, tennis, and river access for your enjoyment. The space Welcome to our peaceful organic farm retreat located just a short drive away from King’s Canyon and Sequoia National Parks! This compact, two-story unit has one bedroom with a queen bed and a daybed as well as a full bath, a kitchenette with a microwave/ toaster, and a balcony overlooking the King’s River and our thriving organic farm. Sit on the balcony and unwind while you look out over acres of fruit orchards. Peruse the Swedish town of Kingsburg with its quaint local shops and tasty eateries. For nature enthusiasts, venture 1.25 hours up to King’s Canyon/Sequoia National Parks in the Sierras to see the biggest and oldest trees in the world! Or stay put on the farm and enjoy a game of tennis, pickleball, or a game of half-court basketball. Our rooms at the Jackson Family Farm Stay not only offer a beautiful experience but also a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind. The beautiful King’s River sends its clear, snow-melted waters down from the High Sierra past our property and our 400-year-old River Oak trees to irrigate farms all over the San Joaquin Valley. In normal years the river is continuously running, but it has been dry before. When the riverbed is dry, it creates a huge sandbox that some children and guests also like to explore! We are thankful for every day the river flows and always hopeful for more rainfall. Good management of our water resources will help farmers provide delicious food for people all over the world. The well water in your room, sourced from high mountain springs and filtered through layers of sand, is pure and refreshing. It is tested for purity, so enjoy! Although we are actually a working fruit farm and not a resort (we don’t offer 24 hour front desk service, free flowing ice or TV), you will find yourself disconnecting from stress and reconnecting with nature in a way that rejuvenates you. We aim to provide an atmosphere where you will experience deep rest for your body and soul as you spend time at the Jackson Family Farm Stay! We look forward to hosting you!
