Annexe for 2 near Bury St Edmunds

Unwind in your own self contained annexe in the beautiful Suffolk countryside. Relax or explore - perfect for all of East Anglia. We are a 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds - lots of walks, sights, shopping, theatre, restaurants etc - 10 minutes from Thetford and the coast is only an hour away! There is a pub in the village (no food) just 70 metres away, near enough to enjoy but far enough not to hear! We are also on the Wolf Way so a perfect place to stop! The space This is a self-contained annexe of a Farm House. You have your own front door into a hallway with the bathroom off to the left as you enter. As you turn right for the stairs there is a curtain over a door - this is locked as it goes through to the rest of the house. You then go up the stairs and you enter the kitchen / dining room. Through here and you are in the bedroom / sitting room. Its an old Farm House, which used to house the Farm Manager of the Euston Estate until the early 2000's - built over 400 years ago. There is a small outside seating area for your use. To be improved! We also have a padlocked bike shed - please ask and we can give you the key. PLEASE NOTE there is a staircase and the bathroom is downstairs, and although the ceilings are a good height, please mind your head as some of the door frames are low! Also please note that it maybe unsuitable for children or infants due to the stairs, new carpets and (at the moment) we have no facilities for babies - thank you. Guest access You have your own front door so will have your own keys to come and go as you please. Parking is in what was the farmyard (so lots of space), then a walk along the front of the house to your own front door at the side. Other things to note We supply you tea, coffee, milk, butter, eggs and cereal. PLEASE NOTE there is a hob, microwave and toaster but NO oven. Please also note that the bathroom is downstairs and it may not be suitable for young children. IN THE AREA We are on the Wolf Way - perfect resting place on your journey forward! 15 minutes - you're in Bury St Edmunds with so many things to do - we have guide books, maps and leaflets - theatre, shopping, eating, drinking, cinema, history, architecture .... its endless! 20 mins - you can be in Thetford Forest - great for walking and cycling. 30 mins - you can be in the beautiful towns of Lavenham, Cavendish or Clare. 40 mins - maybe you want a city - Cambridge, Ely & Norwich - or get the train from Bury. 1 hr - you can be on endless sandy beaches .... Aldeburgh, Brancaster, Holkham, Southwold and so many other beautiful beaches. RAF Honington is a 6 minute drive. NOTE: there are no planes taking off at Honington so its v quiet! RAF Mildenhall & RAF Lakenheath are both a 30 minute drive. Making this ideal for visiting relatives & friends who live on or near any of the bases.
