Charming country house in Custoza with outdoor whirlpool mini pool. Nestled on the moraine hills of Lake Garda, our house offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The private garden is an ideal place to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape, while the numerous wine cellars, the typical local restaurants, the pleasant paths that can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback and the six prestigious golf courses in the immediate vicinity will offer unforgettable experiences. The space Il Metrone is an ancient countryhouse built in the seventeenth century and located in the center of the village of Custoza, with a splendid view over the surrounding vineyards. Renovated for the first time about thirty years ago, it was completely refurbished in 2024. The countryhouse is laid out as follows: On the ground floor there are two living rooms, a dining room for 14 guests, a fully equipped kitchen, an additional dining room for 6 guests, and a small guest bathroom. On the first floor there are 6 bedrooms: 3 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms with shower (or bathtub) and bidet, and a workspace for meetings or social games, equipped with a printer. On the third and top floor there is a library/study, a full bathroom, and two additional bedrooms, one single and one double. In the basement there is a cellar/laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron, also accessible from the garden. The countryhouse has private parking (3 parking spaces) within the property, with an electric vehicle charging station featuring two outlets. Just outside the gate there is a convenient public parking area. The space Il Metrone is located in Custoza, a small village of the municipality of Sommacampagna, in the province of Verona. The property is situated in the historic center of the village, right next to Villa Pignatti Morano, which has always belonged to my family, and enjoys a beautiful view over the surrounding vineyards. The exterior of the house includes a private, fully fenced garden. The charming heated mini pool (for a maximum of 7 people), with hydromassage, night lighting and outdoor shower, two large linden trees under which you will find a large, comfortable dining table, and outdoor furniture make the stay particularly pleasant on warm, sunny days or summer evenings.. Inside, the house extends over approximately 400 square meters and is equipped with all modern comforts: air conditioning in all south-facing rooms and fans, high-speed Wi-Fi covering the entire garden, TV, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, freezer, and coffee machine. IMPORTANT NOTES: A gas BARBECUE is available for grilling in the garden. PARTIES and crowded events are not allowed. In Custoza everything is within walking distance, including the excellent bakery, the newsstand (which also rents e-bikes for pleasant outings in the surrounding hills), and various restaurants. Two vineyard walking routes called “Cammina Custoza,” each about 8–10 km long, are also reachable on foot. High-performance Wi-Fi covers the entire garden as well. Within the property there is also a small guesthouse where the caretaker Janith lives with his wife Imasha, who will handle the check-in, take care of the garden, and tidy the house during your stay (two hours per day). Other things to keep in mind: WE DECLINE ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR CHILDREN, WHO MUST ALWAYS BE SUPERVISED, as the small pool, even though the water is only 98 cm deep, can be dangerous for those who cannot float.
