This is an ideal place to get away and experience nature, adventure and relaxation. The nearest town is Guayabo 12 kilometers away where you can find small restaurants and super markets. This is NOT A HOLIDAY RESORT, this is a comfortable Apartment (140 square meters; 470 feet). The Apartment has fully equipped kitchen. If you plan to prepare your own meals, please stop to pick up groceries. We also offer costarican home made food for purchase. We do not have a front desk so we will appreciate if you could give us an approximate arrival time. If driving from San Jose, Arenal, Monteverde or Tenorio, take Route # 1 north to BAGACES, then take Route 164 from BAGACES to GUAYABO. No matter what your GPS tells you do not take "camino a San Jorge". Ignore your GPS and drive through GUAYABO, leaving Guayabo after the single lane bridge turn left, that is “Carretera Santamaria” follow 12 kilometers along the paved road, the last kilometer is gravel but drivable.
