This old stone press in the heart of the Haut Languedoc Natural Park dating from the 1930s has been lovingly renovated and transformed into a self-contained home since 2022, while retaining the charm of the place. In this country house overlooking the valley of Cros and Bitoulet, which can accommodate up to 8 people, you will enjoy the calm and a breathtaking view, a large garden for your meals and your afternoons around the pool, comfortable rooms to rest, as well as a friendly and well-equipped living room. Its advantages: a quiet environment without facing anyone with a superb view from the living room and outdoors, many leisure facilities (volleyball/badminton court and board games available). The 2-story house with garden consists of: # On the ground floor - A living room with kitchen equipped for 8 people, microwave, dishwasher, gas stove with large oven, fridge with 3 freezer trays, a sofa, a large TV, a wood stove, and a large dining table for 8 - 10 people, this is the old press that has been preserved. - A bathroom with shower of 80 x 120 cm made in one of the old grape vats of the press, with access to the dry toilets of the ground floor. - A separate ground floor bedroom for 2 people, with a 140 x 200 cm bed. # On the 1st floor - A bedroom for 2 people with a 180 x 200 cm bed with storage boxes and an en-suite shower. - A bedroom for 2 people, with 140 x 200 cm bed, desk and chair. - A separate bedroom for 2 people, with twin beds of 90 x 200 cm, with direct access to the garden. - Two direct accesses to the garden. # Exteriors - Access to the garden behind the house, including 3 terraces: the first equipped with a large dining table for 8 with remote parasol, the second with deckchairs, sunbathing, in the shade of the large chestnut tree, and the last which includes the pool, an outdoor kitchen and a barbecue - 4 private parking spaces in front of the house. - Volleyball/badminton court below the house. # Other - All bedding is new. - Bathroom linen (towels, gloves) is not provided. - Upon arrival you will have coffee, tea and dishwasher tablets to start your stay with peace of mind. - Italian coffee maker. - Our friends the spiders/woodlice appreciate this old house, a cleaning before your arrival is carried out but we do not exclude that they will return anyway. - Foreign language spoken: English (fluent). - Unlimited WiFi. - Travel cot + high chair on request. - Closed bike shelter available. Other things to note The gîte is conveniently located in the municipality of Rosis, 10 minutes from Lamalou-les-Bains (shops, supermarket), 10 minutes from the river and 45 minutes from the sea. During your stay, multiple places are to be discovered: many hiking and mountain biking trails are nearby, including the GR7 which passes through the hamlet of Tourrel 200 m from the house, the gorges of Héric and Colombières, Lafage, the Orb, Le Caroux, the Mediterranean garden of Roquebrun, the pretty village of Olargues, many activities (canoeing, via ferrata, swimming in the river in season, climbing) etc.
