Come and unwind in this beautiful countryside retreat. A short walk from the thriving village of Ludham yet set it stunning countryside with off-road walking right from the door; Ludham Hall Cottage is the perfect escape. This two bedroom house is set in truly unique surroundings, both historically and in terms of wildlife. A short walk will take you to the 1,000 year old St Benet's Abbey and you might well see several species of duck, geese, deer and owls. Starlink wifi adds a modern twist! The space Ludham Hall Cottage is part of a unique Grade II* listed property, once the Bishop of Norwich's summer palace! The cottage itself is completely separate to the main house with it's own drive and entrance way. On entering the house there is a small entrance way, ideal for coats and boots. If you have larger items such as fishing rods, bicycles or canoes; please let us know, there is extra storage available. To the left is a well equipped kitchen and dining area with under-counter fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer and all utensils and cutlery etc. To the right is a living room with two sofas, TV and plenty of games for evenings at home in front of the electric fire. The stairs to the first floor lead off this room. At the top of the landing is a cozy reading nook, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and airing cupboard. The bathroom has a lovely cast iron bath and a large shower. Both bedrooms can be made into SuperKing size beds or two single beds, making the space very flexible and there is ample built in storage space. The property is dog friendly with a well fenced garden for them and you to enjoy and farm walks direct from the door. Guest access The whole space and well fenced garden is available for guests. The house and garden are both exclusively available to the guests with no shared space with the main house. There is an old adjoining door in the living room but this door is screwed closed with insulation and another door on the other side providing privacy and sound proofing between the two properties.
