Welcome to Crooked Lake Lodge, your private lakefront escape blending cozy comfort with vintage charm. Nestled directly on all-sports West Crooked Lake, this stylish brick home features a nostalgic vibe—think classic cabin touches with elevated comfort and a whole lot of heart. Whether you're floating off our private dock in summer or ice fishing in winter, this home is perfect for memory-making. Ideal for families and friends! NOT a party house. The space The Lakes: This waterfront retreat is on the border of Howell and Brighton Michigan, with the stunning backdrop of "Little Crooked Lake" with direct boating access to "Big Crooked Lake" (aka East & West Crooked). These all-sports lakes make for incredible summer time memories. The back door of the Lodge is only steps from incredible swimming, fishing, or boating. Use the paddle boat to explore the lake, hunt for golf balls, or swim. If you have your own boat or jet-ski you are welcome to tie up on our dock, and there is a public boat launch on Big Crooked. And if you love golf, its a short golf cart ride away from incredible Oak Point Golf Country Club. The Lodge: This two-story, nearly 2,000 sq ft brick lake home is thoughtfully laid out for families and small groups, with a fun retro vibe. Upstairs: Bedroom 1: King bed + twin-sized fold-out couch, en-suite half bathroom Bedroom 2: Queen bed, adjacent to main upstairs bath Upstairs Living Room: Game table + games, smart TV, two sofas, record player with vinyls, panoramic lake views, and walk-out extra large upper deck with lounge furniture and dining bar table (seats 4) Downstairs: Fully equipped kitchen (*no dishwasher) with large island for entertaining, seats 3-5. Dining table seats 9. Cozy fireplace nook with recliners. Bar area, full bathroom, and laundry room Covered lower deck for shaded lounging or rainy day grilling. Bedroom 3: Bunk room with 2 twin-over-twin sets (sleeps 4) Outdoor Highlights: Private dock with paddle boat and swim raft included. Shallow sandy bottom area for all-ages swimming and water play Lake toys + accessories Ample parking (driveway) Upper deck for lounging an amazing lake views Lower deck (rain proof) for all weather relaxing Blackstone grill and gas grill (yes both!) The Location: Equal distance to downtown Brighton and Howell, the Lodge is about a 12 minute car ride either way. If you are in town during the winter to ski or snowboard. Mt. Brighton is a 7-10 minute drive. For the Spartans or Wolverines, the Lodge is conveniently about a half hour away from each campus. Guest access They can use the whole house, driveway. The garage is primarily used for owners storage Other things to note Capacity: The 3 bedrooms can easily accommodate 8 people in beds (2 in the king, 2 in the queen, 4 in the kid bunk bed room) If you include couch + folding mattress you may sleep up to 10 Property boundaries. Please see the property lines and be sure to respect our neighbors and keep all activity in our own yard, driveway, lake area. Golf Carts: If you are a golfer and are renting or bringing a cart, you are welcome to bring it to the house during your stay! Golf carts are very common on our street and adjacent neighborhood. Pet Policy: Sorry, no pets allowed Non-smoking property Watercraft: Paddle boat provided; tie up your own boat or jet ski at our dock (please alert us in advance for Crooked Lake 101 safety & etiquette) We have a swim raft that is just in front of our dock, and you are welcome to enjoy! Please no diving, as the water is shallow. Public boat launch: Located on Big Crooked Lake Winter stays: Ideal for ice fishing, skating, or skiing at nearby Mt. Brighton Nearby attractions: 10 minutes to Downtown Howell or Brighton, ~30 minutes to MSU and University of Michigan Children: Our home is child friendly, but not child proof. We have provided the essentials so that you and your littles can have the most comfortable stay possible (pack n play, highchair, gates) Our own children have generously provided some toys, books, and items to share, and we have accumulated some extras along the way. Please enjoy, however note that we cannot guarantee the child safety or appropriateness of all toys for all ages, so please check the toys (stored under the bunk bed) or place them out of reach if needed *this is not a party house
