Stay at this former bakery in the heart of this friendly, well-served village and be close to all you need. Just steps from the village shop and tearooms, with the award-winning Red Lion pub less than 5 minutes walk away, you have the house to yourself. South Norfolk is packed with things to do - Banham Zoo and Snetterton racetrack are within 10 minutes drive. Stunning walks from the door - will you spot deer, hares, even a barn owl or two? Parking for 1 car outside the door, more at the shop! The space Bakers Oven was once the bakery for the village of Kenninghall - once the baker had finished his work for the day, the villagers would bring their own baking to be done in the oven, which has now been converted into the kitchen at the cottage. The bricks from the vaulted ceiling have been reused in building the kitchen you see today. There are three bedrooms with a kingsize bed, a double and a single respectively. The main bedroom contains a travel cot in the wardrobe - please bring your own bedding if you wish to use this. The single room contains a desk and chair, ideal for working from home. There are large smart TVs in the living room and all bedrooms - please bring your login details for all your favourite streaming services, particularly for use in the bedrooms, as these rooms have no aerial connectivity. Full terrestrial services are available downstairs in the living room. Wifi is strong and available throughout the house. Please note - the first grassed area to the rear, off the first patio, belongs to next door, so please don't use it! If you go through the gate down the righthand side of the garden room, you will have access to the lawn with the washing line and the garden room. Both patios are for your enjoyment. In the kitchen, you will find a Ninja Foodie Max and a Rangemaster range cooker. There is no dishwasher or microwave - please ensure the washing up is done before you check out. Thank you! Guest access The first grassed area to the rear, off the first patio, belongs to next door - please don't use it! You can access our lawn via the gate between the garden room and the fence - the garden room and the furniture within are also for your enjoyment. There is a gate off the first patio - please ONLY use this when putting the wheelie bins out via the covered passageway, if you stay on a Thursday night. The bin schedule is pinned to the fridge - many thanks. Other things to note Please note - there is no dishwasher or microwave at the property. There is a Ninja Foodie Max, with multiple cooking functions, plus a Rangemaster Range oven, a kettle, toaster and a Tassimo coffee machine. Pets are welcome at £15 each, per stay.
