Cozy Cottage Getaway on Evan’s Lake

Great discounts for fall and winter visits. The cottage is nestled on a private lake in the Irish Hills. With lakefront access, a fire pit, pergola, and dock to use in the summer. Whether you're looking for a serene escape or an exciting family getaway, this cozy cottage has everything you need for a memorable stay. Located close to Ann Arbor (University Of Michigan), other small towns, vineyards, antique stores, nice restaurants and a national park. The space The cottage is on a quiet lake - except some weekends in the summer. The perfect place to spend time outside with a large deck for breakfast or fun dinners, two outdoor fireplaces, a huge grassy backyard and lake access. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms upstairs (bunkbed and a queen size bed) and two living rooms with amazing views. On the ground floor there is another bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms with a king size trundle and a separate room with a double bed. The house is built on a hill so it isn’t best for those who have difficulties navigating stairs. It is an older property and is more rustic than a typical house. Both a gas and charcoal grill is provided with the rental please purchase your own coal. We are on a private lake, which means that the area is a bit calmer and quieter than other surrounding lakes but sadly there is no launch for guests boats. We have 3 kayaks as well as two paddle boards available for rental if requested early. The water is shallow by the dock and perfect for wading. Guest access The entire house is yours to use. This includes the huge grassy backyard and front lake access. There are also kayaks, a rowboat, and paddle boards available to rent if requested. A charcoal and gas grill available with a side prep table provided. Other things to note The cottage can be accessed by the front of the house to unload and then there are 3 spots in the back of the house by the green garage on the cement pad. Bedding- We have pillows, blankets, sheets, and duvets. The cottage uses well water which is safe and clean but there is also filtered water from the fridge. We have 2 kayaks and a 2 person canoe. Great for fishing or leisure. We also have a row boat. If requested we rent out two paddle board, please message us if interested. Evan’s lake resort will not allow outside boats access to the lake. The kitchen has almost everything you need to have a great weekend. A gas and charcoal grill is outside to enjoy and a fire pit is downstairs for s’mores and relaxing camp fires. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher, kettle , coffee maker, toaster and all your cooking essentials including bowls, pots, pans and utensils. No crockpot, no Tupperware, or blender. We have a washing machine and oversized dryer for bedding or to do laundry on an extended stay. No smoking No parties Be nice to our neighbors People are nice enough to leave non perishable food at the cottage. Please feel free to use if you wish or ignore if you have your own.
