The kitchen boasts plenty of cabinet and countertop space to prepare meals for a home cooked supper or a picnic to enjoy along The Blue Ridge Parkway. In the kitchen you will find all new appliances, along with ample cabinet and countertop space. A well appointed kitchen allows for cooking family meals, or preparing easier items for on the go. The living and dining room are an open space, just as you enter through the front door. There is seating for all. You can relax on the large sectional, watching TV or play a round of cards at the dining table after a delicous meal at The Blue Rooster. The primary bedroom (Bedroom 1) offers a queen bed, small dresser for clothes, and walk in closet. The primary bath off of the bedroom allows natural light to illuminate the space. The primary bath (Bath 1) shows off built in shelving, single vanity, and shower. Bedroom 2 is a great retreat for the kids! With two TwinXL beds, parallel each other, they maybe telling stories all night! There is also a walk-in closet for stowing away their luggage. There is access to a front load washer and a dryer, in the hallway between the two bedrooms. I can remember riding my bicycle around town at a young age. Ms. Haynes lived in this house for the majority of my childhood. I affectionately refer to it as the Haynes House, because of her kind spirit. Guest access As the guest, you will have access to the entire home. There is parking for 2 vehicles just to the left of the home, and a large back yard. Other things to note Distance to..... Waynesville, NC - 6.9 miles, 13 minutes Canton, NC - 4.4 miles, 10 minutes Asheville, NC - 25 miles, 27 minutes Sylva, NC - 24 miles, 26 minutes *Times and distance will depend on your specific destination with each town. Home is located near a main road, and active railroad tracks. The train usually comes through twice a day, morning (around 10am) and afternoon (around 4pm). *Times may differ depending on trains schedule.
