Lumbung Loft Villa with Balcony and Seaviews

Set atop a hill that gives Karuna its outstanding ocean views, sits our “Lumbung Loft”, a traditional Indonesian-style home from Lombok, Indonesia. Lumbungs are known for its curved roof shape. Manufactured from Indonesia and re-designed in the Philippines with some modern elements like kitchenstairs, the Lumbungs are entirely made of teak and merbau wood, not one piece of hollow block used, and is 9 meter long and 5 meter wide with a gable height of 6 meters. Pieces of furniture, made of old boat wood, were sourced in Jogjakarta, hand made to our specification for your pleasure and relaxation. The loft serves as the bedroom with a king-size bed and an oversized backlit Mandala. An ensuite bathroom with shower, toilet, and double sinks adds comfort during your stay. Each Lumbung has a private veranda with its own entrance. A double size sofa bed allows additional persons to stay (extra charge per person). PS: We are not wheelchair friendly since the units are built in a hill -Please be prepared to walk uphill and some flights of stairs. *All gorgeous rooms are hillside, and we provide complimentary shuttle service (Karuna- El Nido town-Karuna) for all guests in the resort.
